True. America has some 7-8 aircraft carrier strike groups (Not all carriers are at sea due to refit). But America is now running at $1.6 trillion of debt every year to fund it's military and other social programs. It won't last.

I agree with you, I do not think that there are no other military powers who would go into navy battle with USA. That would be suicide. Persian Gulf showed that Carriergroups performed alot of landattacks (strikes).
Well, China, Russia and Europe does not have any aircraft carrier strike groups. Russia has one or two, UK (soon two) a couple and frenchone. China is creating one or two, but compared to US it will be without power. US has the ONLY advanced strike capability in the modern warfare. I know that many people does not buy this but that is a fact. But US will still have 10-12 modern aircraft carriers which are superb in strength. There will be NO oppose powers in that are in the futeure.

The Stennis was the first Nimitz class carrier I remeber seeing. I was visiting San Diego in 1999, and she was morred at North Island. I thought she was may be the Aberham Lincoln. But this older gentelmen who I ask what was the name of the ship, said it was the Stennis.
Yeah for the Stennis strike group!!! God protect them all!!! My son Shaun is on the USS Antietam (CG 54) with the Stennis Group right now & they are in the Persian Gulf. So thanks for the vid.:):):)
