I played that boss battle about a dozen times. The last time, she was running at me and just stopped. Like, stood still staring at me. I shot her about 10x in the head with a pistol and she went down. It felt so incredibly cheap...but I was done with that boss. Weird how glitchy she seems to be...

lol, odd glitch. I was able to breeze through the bossfight pretty easily myself, just pack a heavy rifle with as much for extended magazines as you can muster, then unload one really massive clip (because ammo isnt really practical for heavy rifle) and pound the crap out of her.

Well I used the typhoon to stun here and made her feel the rage of my Heavy Rail Gun had to grab more typhoon ammo from the lockers. My 3rd Typhoon killed her

But I was lucky enough to get her trapped and gun her down the entire fight :D

the making of dvd has a short interview w/ the dude(s) who programmed the AI in this game, and they were talking about how it was such a great thing theyve done.

i lol'd as i thought about this video, among other instances of AI failure in the game (a black mark, among many, in an otherwise pretty decent game)

@thepocarisweat Well I mean there was bound to be some bugs, all games have them, but with how little bugs and glitches that were in this game as far as I know they did an outstanding job, the game took about 23 hours for me to beat and this was the only glitch I came across. I think they got the job done :)

@Rafamix100 Well its up to you, but I got Rage on PC and it is horrible. The graphics are really bad, its too linear, I personally don't really like it. Its up to you whether you want a shooter game, or a stealth game.

@thepocarisweat the boss battles were outsourced and use much different ai behaviors than the rest of the game

Is the sniper any good? I pretty much only used the pistol and the tranquilizer rifle.

@Anthrx11 Yah, is mostly onehit-headshot on Give me a challenge. But I use it only if I got detected, normally I use Combat rifle, SMG and Pistol, all silenced, CR and SMG with auto-aim, Pistol with max ammo and + firespeed.

@Aalata I only upgraded my pistol, and sometimes the shotgun. Pistol fully upgraded is a 1 hit headshot on all enemies except for the heavys, those are 2 hits. The Armor-Piercing upgrade is the best upgrade for it.

Just beat her on the 10th attempt after she tried a new tactic of standing perfectly still while I shot her in the head with exploding bullets. Brilliant.
