@Lonsoleil Well as you may expect, it's quite difficult to sync notes with actual songs from the NES. So I really took the lazy route and simply added NES sound effects rather than actual NES music from say, a Mario.

Could you maybe add actual music to the game? I can't tell what the songs are supposed to be because there aren't any notes.

its pretty close but you guys should change it so that as long as you get the right notes the theme songs from any nes classic would play i would do it myself haha but im a hacker not a programer

so like all the good original songs so like mario the megaman 2 wily song just stuff like that and then rig a guitarhero controler to plug in

you guys must all have such fond memories of nes that you forget what the graphics and gameplay were like. the colors and effects here are more representative of a 16bit system, which could actually make reds that looked red and greens that looked green etc. If you remember, 8 bit systems tended to make more cmy-ish colors that look washed out. for an authentic finish to your video, you should, compose some songs on an 8 bit sound emulator like a sid emulator or any ym emulator. :)
