nice great explanation. I understood this primitively until I watched this video. The truth is, you don't need to memorize ball position for every club, you just have to ensure you COG is in the right place according to the club you're hitting, which can be done with the wobble. I finally understand what the wobble is for! you shoulda mentioned that!
at 2:12 you totally move your front foot back, totally contradicting what you just stated before that about the ball staying relative to you feet; no it doesn't you just moved you foot about 2-3 inches!
hey guys i hit my driver fine with lining the ball up inside or parallel to my left foot. but i cannot hit irons i always hit them fat as in hitting the ball 30 yards. but i will hit a decent shot everynow and then, please help, thanks
Michael, Forget ball position. If you know where center is, then your body will determine where the ball needs to be. Do you know what the correct ergonomic angles are for the hands and wrist at address and impact? Do you know how to get the maximum radius from the golfer to the club head? How do you get connected to the ball Utilizing Maximum Radius???
Hey mattkhadem: He is refering to the ball position off his left heel. Not both feet. With the driver his stance is wider so the ball is in line with his left heel and left armpit. when he uses irons or wedges his stance narrows, bringing his shirt logo over the ball but retaining his left foot' heel in line with the ball. This is Jack Nicklaus' method. check out his video of the one swing method
relitive to my feet it hasnt moved? yes it has, its now in line with your left heel as opposed to being in the centre of your stance. Am i missing something?
Very good explanation of the ball positioning mystery. Thanx!
