@maskproduced At the moment, analogue wireless still works in the UK, but OFCOM (the governing body of telecom and broadcasting in the UK) are selling off the short wave radio frequencies that are used by analogue wireless devices, so soon only digital wireless systems (like the line 6 relay he mentions) will be usable.
misha says something about his floating tremolo at 8:00 where ''all guitar should have these".. and i actually dont understand what hes saying. but it looks quite useful to know for somebody that has a floating trem like i do XD can somebody help me out ?
Haha, that Paul Gilbert Ibanez doesn't even belong to him, haha. It belongs to Nolly from Red Seas Fire, at least it has the same pickups and strap. hehe.
Any idea if Bareknuckles will start making other bladed pickups? If these aren't as hot as say some other ones they make, they should make several differently voiced models with varying output etc,..
@Pyrofreezer They're a prototype called the black hawk. Nolly Getgood from Red Seas Fire (awesome band, check them out) has the same ones in his daemoness 6 string.
Isn't that Paul Gilbert Ibanez Nolly's guitar? its just the way Alex talks about it, you'd think it was his x) unless, he has a like for like lookalike or he bought it from Nolly
@guitarDouchebaggery I think they where aftermaths, the mayones site said Misha ordered his guitars both with aftermaths.. so idk if they are, but they may be
@thatguy5557123 tha Aftermaths are already out and have regular pole pieces. The prototypes shown in that one guitar have rail pole pieces (4 metal bars accross the humbucker), so these must be the next thing ;)
@guitarDouchebaggery yah I caught that but I was just thinkin they made em extra pretty for Misha lol, but your right thanks for pointing that out I wouldn't wana mislead anyone
@thatguy5557123 They are actually a new set of pickups that Tim still has in the Prototype phase, i was road testing them on the LXD tour and will be continuing to do so on our tour with Fair To Midland as well, i am absolutely loving them so far, ULTRA tight and yet very aggressive and modern sounding. If all goes as planned they might be out later this year so keep an eye out!
@Periphery The public demands a quick review and closeups! What's the name going to be? Something eluding to Dimebag Darrel? I think if it's going to be something about an American guitarist, it should be called "The Teabagger." You know you just started a damn fire showing those off, right?
@bedofrazorsqwerty Haha they have little to do with the Bill Lawrence rail pickups (which is a good thing imo haha), they actually arent terribly hot pickups either which i like. They are definitely not as hot as the Crunchlab/Liquifire combo i had in the guitar before,
It is hard to compare them to the aftermaths because i have only played 7 string aftermaths and this pickup is a 6 string, and so comparing them is a bit misleading, but yeah it is tighter than the aftermath for sure!
Im sure that PGM was Nolly's at somepoint.
