@nben11 No he did not, because backpressure does not create power. It hinders flow, whichs robs the internals of kinetic energy, by having the need to push exhaust gasses through a more restrictive system (stock).

What causes a loss of torque down low on a free flowing exhaust is a low exhaust gas velocity. However, you will almost always see gains in peak power with a freer flowing exhaust.
