The participants knew the consequences of their trespass and I applaud them for being brave enough to make the statement.

Even if people don't believe in climate change (which I find funny) it doesn't change the fact that we are eventually going to run out of oil (or cheap oil if I may say). Some predict we will run out in 50 years, others 200 years, but nonetheless the pice for a barrel of oil keeps going up regardless of how much we have. This was effective protesting; good for Greenpeace. Those who are 'outraged' at the trespass on the monument are surely wishing it was not so effective - otherwise why so angry? Damage to the Granite was non-existent; the pressure washing operation that took place in 2005 surely caused far greater erosion than the handful of rappels shown in this video. The participants knew the consequences of their trespass and I applaud them for being brave enough to make the statement.

A barrel floating in the ocean will grow a seaweed farm. It would be easy to create rainforest sized algae farms mid ocean. The seaweed farms would photosynthesize, as well as the lifeforms themselves would be made of carbon.
Cheap. Proactive. Harmless.
Also mid ocean seaweed (algae) farms could be towed to countries in need for emergency food, fuel.
No downside.

Even if people don't believe in climate change (which I find funny) it doesn't change the fact that we are eventually going to run out of oil (or cheap oil if I may say). Some predict we will run out in 50 years, others 200 years, but nonetheless the pice for a barrel of oil keeps going up regardless of how much we have. I get that these people mean well but the global warming movement is a scam to transfer wealth from everyone to global banks. The science has been falsified, that has come out now. Most who support this cause NEVER even both to check the data for themselves. Greenpeace is NOT a neutral organization and is actually funded by the globalists to push their globalist agenda.
