If I remember correctly, drummer Don suffered brain damage in a vehicle accident, but after rehabilitation, continued to play with the band. How awesome is that? Both from his determination, and Noddy's, Dave's and Jim's belief in him.

My brother first introduced me to Slade back in the early 70's. When I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath from 79-81, I bought all the Slade albums I could find. Now trying to get them all on CD's.  Fantastic band, great music, and Noddy ROCKS!!! Just wish the radio stations here in the SF Bay area would get their heads out of their a--es and start playing Slade.
