I am KJV only. It's the most correct of the English versions and hasn't been polluted or tampered with. The NIV and it's little brother the TNIV are horrible. Especially the TNIV which is geared towards feminism. Most new translations knock at the divinity of Jesus and even take out 1 john 5:7 and if they have it, it's as a footnote, as if it's questionable. Sad.

I agree with almost everything the pastor talks about the Emergent Chruch. But what I'm concerned is that the pastor is quoting from some of the New Versions like NIV, ASV or so.. Emergent church movement is a relatively new phenomena taking shape but the corruption of the New versions of the Bible has been there for decades. Emergent church is infested with New Age philosophy but then it's also true that the New Age Bible Versions also does the same.

Please tell me you aren't a KJV only. Yes, some translations are questionable(Message...) But, it is so much more useful to read several versions...since the original languages have several definitions for many words. Or, we could all learn Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.
