I am flattered that you like it! That was a song that came to me years ago...before I took up the flute. I realized it fit right into the flute...and the rest is history..so to speak. I promise to post more music.
I hope you find time to play more. You are wonderful Jan! And I'm LOVIN the hat!! Soo very nice. Peace-n-Love to you, your fam, and all whom you haven't yet met. Happy Happy!
Wonderful. I'm surprised it took me so long to find you. Very very nice. Expressive, pretty, lovely. I was only disappointed in one place...when you stopped! Peace Sweet Sister! Love to you and all you love and all who do not know you yet. Sincerely, Just pat
Well played for a first attempt! I've always wanted to try a native american flute. They have a very soothing tone...one can almost hear the earth in them.
You are most definitely a 'flutist'... and not a 'flautist'; the former being preferred; the latter, not so much. The hat fits, as well. Thanks for the musical interlude.
Oh....I have been playing for a little while...this was my first try on this new flute. It was a gift that came to me completely unexpectedly, and one that I will cherish. I started out on the tin whistle, and went to a Bb whistle so I could play along with bagpipe tunes! Then at a PowWow in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, I met a flute maker and got to chose my first flute, and watch him actually finish it by burning the holes into it. I love them...some day I want to try the bagpipes!!
I love the Native American Indian flute. I first came across it when visiting the Southwest many years ago. I have two flutes that I play occasionally but never as well as this.
Thank you Max.....I feel the same way about the flute. To me...it has the spirit of the tree from which it came...and although the tree may now be dead, its up to me to coax the spirit back out of the flute for all to hear!
Oh! I have been playing these flutes for a while, but this was my first try on this one. It is a 5 hole, and I have played 6 holes but not a 5. This one is a great sounding flute...and the cedar smells wonderful!

You really have a very soulful style when you play. I bet you could charm the animals to dance.

Thanks! My parrots seem to like the music, but I can't get too close to them when I play, or they will chew the flute!!
