  • I noticed that near the center, the entire mixture crawls up - I wonder what would happen if gravity were removed, or if we could place it in a vacuum, with no hard surface keeping against the bottom (the speaker in this case).  wonder if it'd expand differently?

  • The water would try to form a sphere. Any separation from the surface would not bond back. I'd guess you'd get the fingers/tendrils becoming longer until they snap off due to surface tension and float away.
