  • one of my favorite albums all around ~ simply fantastic lyrics on this one

  • ....the funk is thick on this one... : )

  • this song reminds me when I was in first grade and I would miss the bus! My mom would have to drive me to school and this song was always on the radio during my ride... Good Times!!!!!!

  • Love this song - always have :)

  • This song sounded so trippy when it first came out. It was unlike anything else at the time. It was all texture and atmosphere with little attention to musicality. An attempt to create pop music as art that I think succeeded. Sadly, I feel Nick Rhodes was artistically depleted after this because this was the statement he had wanted to make all along. Once you make your statement what do you say next? Why bother to talk at all when you got money, respect and women.

  • 0:57 One of the many fine epic-tracks of the mighty eighties INDEED! .-)

  • jeeez i was 15!

  • Faz muito tempo que escutei essa música e pensei que fosse do Duran Duran... mas era na verdade de um projeto paralelo (dissidente).

  • Does anyone know anything about the garbled voices that sound like distorted short wave transmissions that intersperce this song? I have wanted to know for 2 and a half decades!

    Wonderful and mysterious song!

  • @aramanth i have to say..and excuse me but 2 and a half decades.would drive me nuts..think about the mystry of maccaroni and cheese

  • wow 0 people dislike this song its a miracle :)

  • duran duran e grace jones in film of 007 the last of roger moore in 1985

  • Did anyone else love when Duran Duran split into Arcadia and The Power Station?

  • @karlmoles65 Not really, but the guys needed to spread their wings a bit!

  • @Saralv I thought Power Station was amazing, and Arcadia was very good too.

  • I only found out last week that this ISN'T a Duran Duran song; in essence it is, but it would be nicer if it was 'officially' a DD song ;)

  • I <333 this song it's like a drug =p

  • I always loved this song by Arcadia when I first heard it back in 1985 and after 25 years it is still a great song.

  • this is a good table dance song too...i play it 4 one of my girls at the club.

  • @popetzm

    cool, what's her stage name?

  • @BrockRockwell00 Hey sorry to b responding so late, her stage name is shae...but she's no longer dancing at the dollhouse where i dj..she's dancing around the corner from where i work..she's at a club called tattletails. She'll probaly come back to dollhouse..most of them do when they go to other clubs in atlanta and decatur georgia

  • @popetzm Strippers have AIDS.

  • A good verse from Grace Jones capped this Fairlight driven pop song off well

  • @brismike65

indeed it did!....Dolph Lundgren hit that back in the 80s right?

  • @BrockRockwell00 LOL right!
