Just a wee quibble with the 'facts' - actually, your U.S. Federal Reserve started printing money BEFORE 1929 - and the tariffs that the REPUBLICANS advocated in the twenties (they were protectionists) were a large part of the leadup to the great depression...REPUBLICANS had control of the white AND congress in those years before 1929 - REPUBLICANS...just sayin...

OK, so they printed a lot of money. What's that mean to the average Joe? What people really need to know is that all of that extra cash is inflation; that we're being robbed. It's like being served watered-down liquor--you paid for a full shot but only got half poured in your drink. When I learned about the Fed, fiat money and credit/debt, I was shocked and angry. Glenn, if you really want to help, make it personal; explain how people are being royally screwed by this printing of money.
