I recall reading that a performance of Hank's back around 1951 was held up for an hour or so at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville because a large number of black people had shown up for the show, but they didn't have a black section in the theater (there was still segregation back then). They finally had to rope off a large section of the theater for the people, and the show went on. Hank was the first country singer by many, years who had that happen.

Another Classic Sr. tune......unintentional timing of release sure didn't hurt "commercial " aspect of the song. Alot like 'Double Fantasy" by J. Lennon in that same way. Although released before his death.....sales certainly soared after it.
