any tips on how not to suck for a fresh scrub like me?
i picked up the game a few weeks ago, barely know how to tune properly, still on my first playthrough, got through 3/4 using a thrown together middle design then got 3 hitted by enemy next and now all the next are to fast for my heavy tank to hit.
If you started with the Rosenthal frame, and if you unlocked White Glint's weapons (the super awesome BFF rifles), stick two on said Rosenthal frame and quick boost around everything while firing shots. Somewhere along the line you should unlock Vaoh's back gatling guns, which further mutilate anything in your path.
Please consult a mission chart or part unlock FAQ to find out exactly how to get the gatling guns, because they become a game-breaker for the single player mode.
just keep playing youll eventually get better.. most of the people who plays this game have played a game or two AC game so they know how to play already..

The armored cores have developed so strangely over the years...I used to love it when I had a tracked A.C. with the twin linked energy cannons with just enough boost to dart side to side and snipe with those cannons...think it was A.C. last raven or the one before that..people used to cuss me out it was great.
i did this differently. my white glint is black and red, with a different assault rifle. TORUS and Interior boosters, no assault armor, and the added main boosters. All that mobility lets me give Killdozer the cold shoulder until the end of the mission.
@Morecrowbar well yes of course but if you don't pay attention to motherwill your screen can get covered in missles while you fight killdozer. Not a problem for white glint though unless you run out of EN or ammo.

my favorite arms fort, but this mission is too easy, i wish the mission had the sprit of mother will decked out with hundreds of normals and aircraft like in the cinematic, i mean its a freaking walking aircraft carrier x6, why the hell are there basically nothing to defender her other than like 10 normals and its defensive turrets

Its weird, but in some ways i miss the AC4 White Glint. Dont get me wrong, the new one is awesome, but when you finally got the SS rank, and finally got to use the lightning fast original WG, its like Christmas. Id like to see them fight. Now that would be epic

Play chapter 1 of the game, but choose the mission "Defeat AF Cabreacan", not the Spirit of Motherwill mission. The n at the end of chapter 2, choose mission "Defend Line Ark". You then get all his parts, + his weapons.
@Slimshadow457 i do believe you have to beat him first in story mode, then when you play it again there is a mission to protect line ark. choose the protect line ark mission and beat the two AC's. that will unlock the parts but if you want the schematics you need to beat White Glint in a ranked match. however i think you do have to do the missions first before you can use the schematics. not sure since it's been a while since i've played the game.
im trying to get my next tuned and set up right for fast, not to light so i can take a few hits, kinda build and im having trouble cause im kind of new to this game, if anyone has some tips for me like tuning it and stabalizers annnnd shit like that cause my next has barely any air time n stuff. my psn tag is Sypher19d
@Sypher19d The key thing for stabalizers is that they make your base, that is the footing of you AC, more secure. You want to get them as high as possible(the numbers of the stabs) while still maintaining a centered craft. It doesn't seem like much, but you begin to notice tilt later on when you get better. If the AC feels like its yawing or having preference towards a particular side, then it is unstable. Also, get a bigger generator and load EN parts, that will max your air time^^.
Well... I heard that in Xbox360 doesn't have any lag problems at all. I'm using the PS3. I can't say if the auto of this Video uses 360 or PS3, the I don't know what button at the end of the video is shown :p

with the VOB part you dont even have to move the accuracy for those cannons are so poor you could literally go and get a cup of tea/coffee while your VOBing up to it :P
White Glint requires 350 frs to load the schematic. It has max En Output, En Capacity, KP Output, and max Primal Armor in every part of the body. Of course, I'd use the other 90 or so FRS you can get to buff up other things, like boost.
Im seriously pissed on Killdozer.. He is the worst AC in Armored core For Answer. Dozers dont have a lock system, and he barly uses his rockets. His a big ass dumbass...No..Jackass..
Wait so I'm confused. on hard mode,all it does is add another NEXT to annoy you and sidetrack you from your main mission? or that and you take higher damage? cause it doesn't seem like I'm taking more damage than on Normal
On Hard, the missiles are much harder to avoid and Killdozer shows up to distract you. You can ignore him though, which is good because he's not worth the trouble.
I use all GM parts and my AP is 70000+. The thing is that the White Glint is more agile, mine uses way too much energy so I can't boost as much or stay in-flight too long, but I've created a new one that helped get through this mission on hard :D
i just got the game i realized tht one of the regulations in there provides unlimited boost, i think its 1.15,but of course it doesnt help Online where my mech cant fly for too long, anyways thought that might help
StarforceOnAir -> The part which is used at the start of the video is the VoB (Vanguard Over Boost), when you'll have to destroy Spirit Of Motherwill, your NEXT will start wthe mission with the VOB anyway. =D
improved output probably tuned aswell. the agrygos generator and the aspina-made generator has high output. Moreover white glint's frame is energy effecient
lol you gotta finish both sides of the mission to unlock white glint parts
at the start of chapter 2, you get "rescue GA transports" and you can get certain missions that will allow you to etiher defeat white glint or help line ark, fighting = weapons, defending = parts
at the start of chapter 2 (after u blow up either motherwill or the algebra arms fort at the end of chapter 1) you are allowed to choose between a few missions...
do the one by GA (Rescue GA Transports)... this will unlock other multiple choices for you and u just follow those
simply follow the missions that GA gives you and u will be able to help line ark

Poor giant base, I loved that thing, but when I fought it I gotta say it was fun hearing the technicians flip out haha.
If I had that moving base, I would have stuck a lot more anti-next weapons on it instead of huge cannons, it has the room.

Best AC in the game is the ARGYROS if you aske me. Absurd agility in a super resistant and weight capable solution ^^

@Sypher19d The key thing for stabalizers is that they make your base, that is the footing of you AC, more secure. You want to get them as high as possible(the numbers of the stabs) while still maintaining a centered craft. It doesn't seem like much, but you begin to notice tilt later on when you get better. If the AC feels like its yawing or having preference towards a particular side, then it is unstable. Also, get a bigger generator and load EN parts, that will max your air time^^.

Well... I heard that in Xbox360 doesn't have any lag problems at all. I'm using the PS3. I can't say if the auto of this Video uses 360 or PS3, the I don't know what button at the end of the video is shown :p

White Glint requires 350 frs to load the schematic. It has max En Output, En Capacity, KP Output, and max Primal Armor in every part of the body. Of course, I'd use the other 90 or so FRS you can get to buff up other things, like boost.

Wait so I'm confused. on hard mode,all it does is add another NEXT to annoy you and sidetrack you from your main mission? or that and you take higher damage? cause it doesn't seem like I'm taking more damage than on Normal

On Hard, the missiles are much harder to avoid and Killdozer shows up to distract you. You can ignore him though, which is good because he's not worth the trouble.

I use all GM parts and my AP is 70000+. The thing is that the White Glint is more agile, mine uses way too much energy so I can't boost as much or stay in-flight too long, but I've created a new one that helped get through this mission on hard :D

i just got the game i realized tht one of the regulations in there provides unlimited boost, i think its 1.15,but of course it doesnt help Online where my mech cant fly for too long, anyways thought that might help

StarforceOnAir -> The part which is used at the start of the video is the VoB (Vanguard Over Boost), when you'll have to destroy Spirit Of Motherwill, your NEXT will start wthe mission with the VOB anyway. =D

improved output probably tuned aswell. the agrygos generator and the aspina-made generator has high output. Moreover white glint's frame is energy effecient

lol you gotta finish both sides of the mission to unlock white glint parts
at the start of chapter 2, you get "rescue GA transports" and you can get certain missions that will allow you to etiher defeat white glint or help line ark, fighting = weapons, defending = parts

at the start of chapter 2 (after u blow up either motherwill or the algebra arms fort at the end of chapter 1) you are allowed to choose between a few missions...
do the one by GA (Rescue GA Transports)... this will unlock other multiple choices for you and u just follow those
simply follow the missions that GA gives you and u will be able to help line ark
