I was just in a Guitar store today explaining to the sales person how good these old pedals were. The unit really shines when you engage the tube screamer distortion chip 1/2 way up, and toggle on/off on the speed pedal!!
A bandmate of mine showed up with a few pedals in a box that he couldn't use and this was one of them. I'm using it in my stereo amp setup now and it rules!
I just got a korg AX30G which is along the same time and model line as this and i don't understand how can they make that quality back then only to make tottaly sucky pedals for the next 10 years ?
ok, i want back and down the hall from the 1st guy, i found 2 more! I got one for $87! I used immediately in the studio. Its way cool. Its a Tube Screamer circuit inside?!? Im going to get the other one, too!
Well, this one is a little bit harder find as well as being more expensive, but the tone is far closer to an actual leslie rotary speaker with this pedal.
I use mine on a Hammond M-103 organ, had it for almost 10 years but still tweaking it every day. Bought from someone who had it as a back up but he realised it's been holding up very good. I believe it had a very good review in keyboard mag even after it was discontinued.
looking back on this sound quality, I should show you how it sounds direct into my sound card. There's alot more bottom end that the sm57 didn't capture!
cool .Korg should reissue these.Jazz guy Charlie Hunter should have continued using this,Way better sounding than the h&k.The drives not to bad either! Nice video Great playing too
I like this one much better than the Boss RT-20. Nothing beats the real thing though, unfortunately.

Bought one of these units new when they came out.
Then sold it some years back.
We all do stupid things :(

canguro217 1 year ago
@canguro217 Sounds reminiscent of "All Things Must Pass", a George Harrison song found on the Beatles Anthology.

Some great sounds, it's a shame it's been discontinued, the new line 6 pedal does an admirable job though

i found one new old stock laying in an old keyboard shop. The guy obviously didn't know what it was, but he sure as hell wanted $300 for it.
