HE IS NOT BRAZILIAN . In 1994 Brazil passed a law allowing people who previously lost their citizenship to REAPPLY to get their citizenship back. Previously if you were to leave Brazil and get a different citizenship, you would lose your Brazilian citizenship. Regehr was born in 1980 and left Brazil 3 years later. Came to Canada by age 7 and Canadian Law allows almost instant citizenship to children under 18 as long as they are permanent residents. They are excluded from the 3 outta 5year req

I do not like this hit one bit. That too me was an attempt to injure. He gave Berezin a hard hit, then basically slammed him to the ice. Regher IS ONE OF THE DIRTIEST PLAYERS IN THE LEAGUE! Regher is a great defenseman but you'd like a little bit higher point totals from him, they've got alot of money tied up in him. I'd rather have him than Phaneuf though, to me he's basically a left winger, I wish they'd put him up front, he does no good to anyone accept the other team as a defenseman, I mean, there would be times that he'd chase people ALL the way around his zone, something they tell you not to do as a like a pee wee.
