They have a partner who actually cares about them and wants to see them do well, if they're in the right kind of marriage. Also, this world is so small - you feel alone when it's so big, and in a 100 or so years, our generation will be insignificant (many find history boring). You have a person that you can tell your greatest achievements to, and they can tell you theirs. It's really wonderful!
