I was first, exposed to Mr. Hughes, in 1979, while studying art. It was his Shock of the New program. I have followed him since. He is, indeed, a clear, crisp voice of reason, amongst the din and chatter of salon, art dealers. Who would see art, denigrated to nothing more, then interior decorator, auction pieces. Where all substance and soul is gone. Leaving only it's,supposed, finical worth and ability to "blend" with the Nouveau Riche, home decor! Long Live, Robert Hughes!

Robert Hughes is a true Australian national treasure, and just about the only person on Earth who has the balls to stand up to the Sotheby's, Christie's and White Cube juggernaut and show them for the frauds they are.
