  • I wonder where Ruby Dhalla was going when she walked in front of the cameras from 3:19 to 3:22....

  • Peter van Loan is completely avoiding the question. It's ridiculous

  • who are the guys who stand up when the speaker does?

  • @Bartimayus those are the pages. they're students who assist the speaker

  • Why Canadians don't care to vote:

    1) "BWAAAAA MLLAAAAAA KLAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAAA"

    2) "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

    3) *obscene hand gesture*

This is a farce of what parliament is supposed to be. The bests satirist could not come up with a better depiction of the House of Common Stupidity.

  • these guys are a joke, this isn't politics...

  • you're an idiot, this is as democratic as it gets, u must be a yank

  • a) didn't say it was not democratic

    b) no I am not a yank so go fuck a goat

    c) they are a joke because they can't keep their mouths shut and have respect in our parliament system asshole.

  • a) N/A

    b) I loved that movie!!!

c)I completely agree. They acted like a bunch of douchebag fratboys. a complete disgrace.

  • And where is he now?

  • hiding in his closet after losing Halton to Lisa Raitt

  • Garth Turner is a bitch!

  • agree this guy had been hiding in his closet since he lost Halton to Lisa Raitt.

  • as neilf72 said in the description: "...or something like that."

  • You must resign first Silly!

  • I respect Garth for his decision making, he didn't cross the floor, the conservativs kicked him out!!!

  • That's true. He had a differing opinion from the rest of the conservative caucus at the time that he was a sitting conservative mp. Because the conservatives don't let their individual mps have their own opinions, Garth was subsequently kicked out of the caucus and sat as an independant for a few months before finally deciding to join the liberals. He did not cross the floor! A shame, because I live just a few blocks out of his riding, and I would vote for him in a by-election if he were my MP.

  • "Because the conservatives don't let their individual mps have their own opinions"

Yeah and John Nunziata was just kept in the Liberal party after attempting to hold Jean Cretien to his "get rid of the GST" promise, eh?

  • Screw you Garth, you stand for NOTHING!

  • this is tupid why would turner asked for permission to run a by election he should resign his seat

  • He became a Liberal and sold out his priorities and ideology, the very ideology his constituents wished represented on their part in the House. I would say that is pretty evil. To be liberal is not to be evil, but moreso a little misguided is all.

  • Oh, I see, once a liberal he becomes the devil incarnate? Please explain how this magical transformation takes place?

  • Garth has lost his credibility. What was once a cutting edge "Libratarian-free market-Conservative thinker" is now a Liberal apologist Hack.
