WK is a real artist, making interesting artwork. Tagging and most graf is only appreciated by writers. You're a disgruntled bunch, jealous of a man with ability and originality.
Anyway, you don't own a piece of wall just cause you've scrawled a crap tag on it, the ephemeral nature of street art is what makes it great.
plus wooster posts artists they like, artists that don't write, but paint other subjects than letters. i like writers too, but it's a different type of art. lots of old school writers are graphic designers now, are they sellouts? art is art, whether its designing a book cover, showing a piece at a gallery and/or doing concept designing for videogames. draw and paint what/wherever you like, it's all good
why is WK a sellout? i may not be a fan of this particular exhibit, but why not a peice for Kobe? is david choe a sellout because he painted an office building? .
