@FrankyyBalboa Thanks!! I wasn't attending any music classes when I wrote this, though I'm now beginning to take Music History courses at the RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) in Canada.
I think there is nothing to say about your technique of composing, but of course about your stil. I hear Mozart (very much ^^), Chopin, an a little Vivaldi, but no Gabbay.
Try to find your own way of composing, whithout copying great works, which still exist. I think that isn´t easy whith pianomusik, i would be glad to hear a real Gabbay, maybe in a stringquartett(??). All un all it is very good, go on and find YOUR way.
@90Einstein The thing is that I don't really *care* to find my own way. I will compose what I love, and the great composers' work are what I love. I compose in the classical style, and I'm happy with that for now. I was never trying to be totally original. I like experimenting with other styles, but I haven't finished any piece in that sense so far.
@MrEbaby2011 Sheet music? They're on the Sibelius Music site for 95 cents...though I feel like a jackass for charging. I'll soon try to post them free.
awsome :D. i would love to post my music to :). but im afraid people will steal it :(. thats why i dont post it on youtube .. arent you afraid of that ?
@hjiuhfhrehui Thanks! I'm not worried about people stealing it as I would have always been the first one to post it on the internet. I also have it put up on the Sibelius music website. Basically, if anyone tries to steal it, they will eventually be exposed because the original piece has an older internet presense. I wouldn't worry too much about stealing...but if it's still a concern to you, try putting it up on somewhere like Sibelius music where it gets alot more credit as a composition.
@hjiuhfhrehui Well, there's no way to get a foolproof copyright of your work as an unknown composer...but posting on various different places helps to establish it as *your* composition. You say you are afraid to post it because someone might steal it...but it's actually quite the opposite. :) The greater the internet presense something has with *your* name on it, the slimmer the chances are of someone plagiarizing it.
@hjiuhfhrehui Sorry for the incredibly late reply. Yes, the Sibelius music/education (I think). You're never automatically copyrighted with ANYTHING in any field of art, but the more places you make it known that it's your unique work, the harder it'll be for anyone to steal it in any way.

Excellent! Good transitions, use of material, and development. The single area that I thought it was lacking was some more contrast in the bass part, but since you were using an Alberti Bass most of the time you're fine.
@DeLesslin Well, I don't know what an Alberti Bass is...and I don't really know anything that techinal about composing overall. I made this on the computer and just wrote in the kind of music that I found pleasing to the ear. :) But thanks very much for you feedback.
ohoho, it's really great. Like Mozart. Did you end some School of Music?
ps respect for this Rondo from Ukraine.

i hear the influence from the third mvt in this.. have you tried polyphonic (?) notes?
like, a half note with a stem facing upward and a quarter note w/ stem facing down at the same beat?
jdaesaorn2012 1 year ago
@jdaesaorn2012 I know those...where would you suggest adding them?
BenGabbay 1 year ago
@BenGabbay oh well prolly not in this specific piece; it's already finished : /
i mean u could experiment with it & write something new. i like the harmony and such from it and would like to hear you make of it.
