i have VERY mixed feelings about this. on the 1 hand, its a massive in depth game that i am looking for. it has a deep story and superb graphics. on the other hand, i do not like turn-based combat much as i have had bad experiences with final fantasy and even lord of the rings 3rd age(shudder). however i am older now and more patient so maybe ill like the combat more? comment back with reasons for and against getting it plz

maybe they change it, because they want, new, i mean new stories. hey guys, i still dont know if they will make another final fantasy, maybe, you know or you played it right now, and japan is too late in games, the SVR08, they're really late, i bought it in feb 14, so maybe you know if they will make again the final fantasy.
I understand just a bit, why final fantasy, imean ff8 to ff10, they have continous story, i mean why ff10 they ended the aeons like that, i think they change it a little, in ff10, all the aeons died right, and i was curious, why in ff12 didnt show all the aeons in final fantasy, i mean, they show it, but its an airship! thats sucks! and they change it with a new aeons, i think, i actually understand, i think the old aeons, in ff10, that would be the last of them.

SPOILER: Just because some douche says FF13 is going to be PS3 exclusive, doesn't mean it will be. GTA was meant to be exclusive to Sony back in the day. DMC4, MGS, Etc. Not that I want FF13 on the 360, the series is now well and truly a shitty lost cause.

It's made by Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy and the reason why you still have Square... Enix titles. You see, Squaresoft was gonna die when Sakaguchi had ONE LAST project/chance to make Squaresoft shine out of that hole they sunk into. He decided to make Final Fantasy (the first game, ironic of a name eh?... Squaresoft's Final Fantasy...) and it was so good (like lost odyssey) that the company stayed alive.

Squaresoft was doing fine it's only called Final Fantasy because one of the producers died before it was released so they renamed it Final Fantasy. you know, in memory of the producer. Sakaguchi may be director but everyone knows that Tetsuya Nomura basically runs the Final Fantasy games. and that is the missing ingredient. hope you like your mediocre game, you xbox fags.
Oh you wanted a list, ok, pretty much any FF that implies a totally random BOY saving the world from a dude that seeks world domination. (about 40% of them). Don't get me wrong I LOVE the old ones up to 8. But then it became too Enix sorry, that and they're trying out all sorts of combat system different from that one system that made it possible for them to make 14 games in the same serie (not counting CC). FF has changed too drastically to be called "real" Final Fantasy.
FF7: Cloud just wanted to kill Sephiroth and Sephiroth wanted to crush half the world with a huge meteor.

Final Fantasy can be similar and that's a good point, but have you seen the size of the games plus there is like 13 of them not counting spin off games. But this is an exact clone of the FF series so your pretty much proving my point. This game is just Lord of the Rings/Final Fantasy with mediocre characters. It doesn't look like a terrible game it's just that anyone who compares this to Final Fantasy is retarded.
I never compared it to FF either, dude... back then ok when there was FF7 there was a BUNCH of "FF clones" like... Legend of Legaia, Saga Frontier, Chrono Cross... etc... and you still played them all and enjoyed them all. its like if you said Half-life is a clone of Doom cause Doom was before Half-life... there's the originator, and people making the same style of game with a different story. The way the player enters battle, reminds me of the way you entered battles on Skies of Arcadia.
And also just a question if anyone knows, in the game can you use more than one character in a battle?

It stopped being Final Fantasy when Sakaguchi left. FF XII has nothing in common with a FF game, other than the references to the series.
Lost Odyssey is the new Final Fantasy. You just can't accept that because it's not on your console.
Now if you hate this game and console so much, why do you keep bugging people who post here. Go watch something else.

No, Lost Odyssey is really great. It improves upon Final Fantasy, like the story, pacing, etc. FF has flaws that LO has ironed out.
