@dubya68 Umm no, you really dont know fucking music at all. The sword is fucking awesome and kickass doom by genre not speed. Some parts dragged is doom in there song but not much
@shaunbag Their sound was spectacular but I hate the aesthetics. They shrouded themselves in far too much smoke and the identity concealing is very pretentious and weak.
funny someone mentioned Dragged into Sunlight with Portal..cause thats what i thought of when i heard both..different..but similiar in the idea and execution. The only bands i know that are as angry is Negative Approach/Laughing Hyenas, Eyehategod, Entombed...love it.
this is one of my favourite reviews of my favourite albums EVER, 'macabre ugliness' 'void' 'crusty craft', i flew into the UK and caught them in 2010, word of warning, it is the best live show i have ever seen bar none, raw, genuine and truly believable, a straight to the bone passion for extremity, there was mention that they intended to ship an entire backline of amps out to the states just to tour, that's dedication to the cause and i have to say, prosthetic have gone up in my estimation.
This album is so good. The first time I listened to this band was alot like the first time I listened to Portal... completely blown away. Everything just works, even the things that shouldn't. Awesome review bud.
I read that the follow up to HFM is coming out sometine this year as well. If you know where I can peep out a snippet from it PLEASE PLEASE let a brotha know.
@JGCSOUND I can imagine its a very much behind closed doors affair if they are recording, we wouldnt know about it until its done and about to come out.
I know what your sayin but too much clarity might just ruin it for me. That wall of bass screams your not welcome here. Ya know? Makes me want to listen even more.
@JGCSOUND Yeah that's what I was thinking. My metal roots are in sludge/doom so I'm usually used to this thing. Seeing it in Death Metal is really fresh though. This is probably one of my favorite bands now.
@Beenyad The wall of bass is the influence of old earache/peaceville grind and sludge on DIS's music, I love the way the reference the history of uk extreme metal whilst looking forward at the same time.
DRAGGED INTO SUNLIGHT, these guys are the future of everything negative. It's like having a tooth extracted with pliers. Faster, heavier, louder, fuck me, it's the perfect kill.
@JGCSOUND Can u review a bolt thrower track or the album Leveling the Plane of Existence by Abysmal Dawn? I love your reviews. Keep up the good work man.
Gotta check this out, seems right up my alley. Good production, a sense of unease, blackened void, hate, macabre, pissed off! Sounds like a typical day for me in the city. I'm sold. BTW, dig your channel you do some badass albums. Are you gonna review the new Vreid album, 'V'. Seems good from what I've heard, like to hear your take...
@JGCSOUND Man, this album is SICK, digging it big time! Also , your channel turned me onto Portal, (Swarth has to be one of the ugliest, black atmospheric, uneasy records I have spun in a very long time) and I thank you for that, and so do all my neighbors!!!
Haha..nice!! When you play Swarth I can picture your neighbors yelling, "Turn down Whatever the hell that racket is!" Glad your diggin' DIS man. Definately one the sickist sounding records I've heard in long time as well. Hope they roll through Sacramento sometime this year so I can witness them live.
@JGCSOUND Ya bro, they are on tour (Portal), their gonna be at the Boulder Theatre on March 31st, I'm going (live in Denver) so they have to be heading your way. I'm wanting a new record from them. Have all 3 and their last one, to me, was their best.
This album is actually insane... I know that's a pretty cliche thing to say about a metal band, but man, this guy has hit the nail on the head... Listened to it on a Youtube playlist first, but then I had to go buy it
I've been trying to get my hands on this record ever since i saw it in a magazine. It has all my favorite musical elements Black,Death,Sludge.Doom. Justin's art is really amazing it just captures the music, I drew one of his pieces for my art class and lets just say the teacher wouldn't accept it :p. Great review as always!! \m/
This is going to sound weird, but I've known about the cover for a long time but didn't even know that it was for a record. Now after listening, I can say that this is fucking great!
Its about damn time it comes out here in the USA! I fuckin love this band. The name of the band alone is creepy as fuck, but when I saw the art, I about shat my pants. Then when I heard the music I was blown away. Fucked up stuff! Love it!
Do you know where i can find the lyrics to this album?

Also, @BryanEKS89: So glad you mentioned Gaza.
