That "Lucy Butler" character was a trip! I felt like jumping in and strangling that woman more than once! I just had to get that off my chest.HaHa! After all these years. Thanks again.
This show held a lot of significance for me for some reason. Episode woke up some personal feelings or thoughts that there was something I needed to "get back to" or "complete".Very difficult to explain.Thank you.I deeply miss it,Frank and the cast made it so special to me.
"Don't know how did you live with the yellow". I want to *strangle* that guy for saying that to Frank. So painful... The yellow house is the icon of everything that meant happiness in Frank's life. Excellent line in that script, though.
I loved that wonderful Crime/Drama/Mystery TV show. Lance Henriksen was brilliant. The 90's had so many awesome TV shows - this one, La Femme Nikita, The X Files, ER, Acapulco H.E.A.T., Walker Texas Ranger, RoboCop The Series, F/X, L.A. Heat, Spy Game, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Pretender, Babylon 5, Lexx, Earth Final Conflict, TekWar, MK Conquest, Soldier of Fortune Inc, Dark Skies, Amazon, SeaQuest, Xena, Farscape, Baywatch, Renegade, Melrose Place, Highlander...
@EuromanMovieReport Yeah, and it was a bit of a travesty for Millennium fans. Somehow, the Millennium saga was supposed to be wrapped up by some throwaway X-Files episode featuring zombies, Frank and a pithy "See, the world didn't end after all" line from Mulder. Millennium deserved far more than that.
@EuromanMovieReport I'm being a bit harsh, because I'm an X-Files fan. The episode was actually called "Millennium" and was meant to tie up the Millennium mythos. But, for me, it lacked the grandeur and did a disservice to the Millennium story arc.
@EuromanMovieReport Yes, there is and this episode name is MilleniuM. We can also see for the short moment Mulder and Scully in MilleniuM episode: Lamentation. They are walking through the stairs in quantico.
@sunshinedaydream1954 yeah absolutely.....recently turned on to it by family member...big X-Files fan....this is much better....can't help wondering that it went over the line a bit, "Forcing it's End" LOL
This was and is one of the only TV shows I have ever been fully immersed in. What a great show!! My husband and I never missed it, he is a fellow TV hater too! Frank was so intense. The concept was so intense.
It's one of the most brilliant shows ever, people think Chris Carter as the creator of X - Files, I accolade him as the creator of Millennium. It truly tried to walk a path the usual TV shows not dare to tread...Thanks for the comment :)
@totallyremiss. I watched it although I wasn't sure what it was Frank was supposed to fight besides vile killers. What exactly was "The Group's"purpose?
I know that the scenes are from The Sound Of Snow, I was reffering to the curse of Frank Black - loosing his wife and not being able to lead a normal life at the yellow house!
Oh really, thank you for letting me know...In Millennium episode they've given credit to Jim Carr...thanks for the information..That's probably why the profound guitar strings was added...I like it better than the original...
Again, I have checked...I am not sure about it either...There are some similarities and then again some don't match...It's still more like James Carr...Of course, I could be wrong...But I am still looking for the same version...with the profound guitar strings 0:23, the one played here...
Glen Morgan and James Wong are the one's responsible for it going into "left field".Carter was focusing on the 5th season of the X-files.Wait a min....Damn you Chris Carter, why did you not check up on what they were doing?
Even then it still has class...I think the series got doomed when they decided to change Millennium Group into a devious cult. On the second season, Academy Group, the real consultant group of ex-Law Enforcement professionals (mostly FBI) backed when they knew the group is being the "villainous"...Chris Carter wanted a fourth season but then it was too late...
That "Lucy Butler" character was a trip! I felt like jumping in and strangling that woman more than once! I just had to get that off my chest.HaHa! After all these years. Thanks again.

Emotive scene. Remember I feel sad when i´ve noticed that Catherine died and she leave Frank alone against all. The best serial ever. Really.

This show was truly ahead of it's time.
Looking at it now on the Chiller Network with all the talk of 2012 it is amazing, to think it was back 96 -99 and it is so relevant!

Ruppenthal and that other guy and Fox are the ones responsible for the show's collapse.
