higurashi has a few pages that could be considered "pervy" but not really. its mainly a horror manga.

I just recently got into manga, I was just an anime fan. However, there isn't a big list of mangas that I do like, or even have been exposed too. I like the DB/Z series, Yu Yu Hakusho series, One Piece, InuYasha, For the most part I like the ones that started before 2000. Like the ones I listed, as well as Detective Conan, Prince of Tennis, Ronin Warriors But there are some new ones I like such as rosario + Vampire and a few others. I like your collection, helps me want to expand my horizons. :)

I had roughly 3000 mangas in 2009... but then again, I've read manga since I was 3 until now. I think it is because my family loves manga as well and manga is way cheaper in my home country than in any other places. :D I don't buy them as often anymore though.. I prefer online now, but I'd buy my favorite ones to support the mangaka

Not gunna lie i was kinda sad when Tokyopop closed it's doors but what you said is true,they could have done sooo much more with their popular series like GTO...hell they could have pulled a Viz and release big volumes and i would have bought it all up without question b/c im a HUGE fan of GTO...sucks that they catered to series that wasn't really as popular, i really wanted to finish collecting for it too b/c i only have 8 volumes =/

I recommend finishing Genkaku Picasso. It's only 3 volumes so It's not very long. I agree with you on Tokyopop. They also canceled more printings of Kodocha and Marmalade Boy. Which were two of their most popular shoujo series. All their good series went outta print. -_- Wow, you're so close to 1,000 manga! :0 I bet you could get there by the end of this year! Anyway, great collection!
