  • Can you post the original vid bro?

  • @KylerGProductions I'm sorry- I don't have the original any longer. I believe that it's available on NetFlix.

  • I remember watching these when I was a little boy. :-) The story of David & Goliath was my favorite. Stories about manhood have always intrigued me.

  • Remember the time with the lion.

  • I posted a comment earlier, but removed it because I didn't realize you did the script and voices yourself. Good job

  • I know what happened here. They ruined this.

  • How could the servant use such a term, a pissy mood? He could have found something else to say.

  • Yes! Lesson learned...just because it looks wholesome, doesn't mean it is.

  • gee thanks...my 3 year old just learned the word stupid.

  • @Soniboboni If there are particular words that you don't want for your 3 year-old to learn, I suggest previewing material before watching it with him/her

  • @spynu85 nah i was joking bud. i'm a deist. but telling someone they're going to the same place as rapist and murders is insulting. i thought christian faith was based of religion tolarance........i'm pretty sure you've read the whole bible like i have and understand all the things that are hard to believe. you sound like you really believe it and that takes a lot of faith. so good luck

  • wow not cool

wen did in da bible dey sayy i HATE DEM??? nd Stupid???? wow btw GBU

  • @darcykidscare First, I think that 1 Samuel 14 makes it adequately clear that Saul's feelings about the Philistines could accurately be described by the English word "hate." As for "stupid," if you're asking a question that's more than rhetorical, you can read a comment I made earlier on this video about that kind of language in biblical narratives. God bless you too :)

  • @DarrenPollock i agree with u who ever u r jajaja jk lol idk why their playing with the bible most of the thing that their saying is not on the bible

  • @davidestevan1217

    amennn abt time someone agree

  • @darcykidscare

How are you seriously going to insult somebody on their lack of proper English or translation when you use grammar like "wen did in da" That's just beyond atrocious. Then to insult somebody directly after discussing the BIBLE! There is a very Biblical term for that, it is a Hypocrite. For that matter, do you know how much of the Bible is improperly translated into English from its original Hebrew and Greek? Like Genesis 1:26 speaking in 3rd person plurality, which is not accurate

  • @Handz2God nd second of all no one is insultin anyone ... sooo dnt say daht nd da way im writin is txtin like waise nd fwy im readyin it nd spanish nd inglish so goo somewere like seriously...... nd if ya dnt wnt ppl sayin der oppinion on da videos. den dnt put dem to be commet jus sayin nd ima stop now cuz da last thing i wnt is to start a prob.. cuz God dusent wnt dahtt so peac outtt GOD BLESS YHU

  • @darcykidscare

My sincerest apologies, I completely misinterpreted what you were saying altogether. I also apologize for criticizing your improper use of grammar, I had no idea that you were translating from Spanish. I think Google translate might actually help with that, while the sentence structure would still be lacking, the words would be proper, so it would be easier for most people to red. God bless you as well :)

  • Looove how you used music from Mulan!! Hahah

  • OMG I rememer watching these back when I was a little kid in Germany, do you know the name of the series,

  • @Classicsniper00 It is Hanna-Barbera's "The Greatest Adventure" series

  • I watched this in R.E. class................

  • @ambotheorange me too

  • hhaha this is funny

  • What is this I don't even.

  • lol is david singing the mermaid theme to the king??? lol

  • what song is that in the very beginning of the movie??? its beautiful!!

  • i dont recall lions being native to Israel

  • dude i remember this 1st seeing this when i was 5 and since watching this cartoon my visual perception of King David was an animated character even now 21 years later

  • That is funny. Good work guys!

  • Happy New Year.If we can worship, we can also operate in the gifts of the Spirit. What motivates me to grow in the deeper levels of spiritual realm of the Power of the Holy Spirit, is the image of Jesus,my Lord,as He hung on the cross dying for me. God does not want us to be afraid of supernatural things or spiritual gifts. He bids us to walk with Him in the miraculous.Take a step of faith out of our comfort zones and dare to believe tht God can use us to demonstrate His power.

  • I love this.

  • i used to watch this back in the day in 1990s and you screwed it up for me, godbless anyway i guess

  • @smargaretis I'm sorry that I forced you to watch my version of it.

  • WHEN DAVID HIT GOLIAT HE WAS SO BLOODY I THINK DAVID IS A BIG HERO

  • i hear music from mulan!!!!!

    5:23 ish - 6:37

    heck yes

  • whats the name of the song in the background during the intro?

  • @Ibattledaily It's O Fortuna from Carmina Burana (Orff). Amazing piece of music.

  • @DarrenPollock Thank you sir!

  • @Ibattledaily Yes, it IS beautiful! It is the "O Fortuna" from Orff's "Carmina Burana." I highly recommend your listening to the entire piece!

  • @DarrenPollock God bless you, this is truly amazing, may the students whom you teach become smart in faith in christianity just aas you are!

  • There's a great morality in this beautiful simple story. No matter how big or small you are, spiritual power will give you the win, not physical. The last shall be the first, the meek will inherit the earth, good shall conquer evil, trust in the Lord and you shall be able to move mountains!!!

  • awww i wanted the original! lol

  • Shits Hilaaaaaaarious

  • take thit u stupid lion! lol ur editing was and is awesome!!!!!

  • david asesinoo.......¡¡¡¡ donde kedo el NO MATARAS...¡¡¡

  • That's from little marmid that song that david sang

  • this is silly

  • Maby he'll agree to rock paper scissors! LOLOLOL!!!!!

  • NO YOU"VE KILLED HIM! Wait! No, he's sleeping.

  • I love this video. Me and my daughters watch it ALL the time. It's creative and funny. We always use your punchlines everyday and it makes us laugh. If anything thanks for allowing God to give you the liberty to enjoy life and sharing it with others. Especially me!

  • Darren this video was hilarious, this is in no way shape or for a travesty, these critics are the type that give Christians a bad name. Keep doing what you're doing.

  • The best part is when you make the sound efects like the bow throw..

  • This is a mockery to god! You will be condemned for that! You turned a really good video into a joke.

  • @fblplaya85 : I am very sorry that you feel that way. I love God very much, and I didn't intend this, nor do I see it, as in any way mocking God. The Bible is full of its own humor, and I am fully convinced that God has an amazing sense of humor.

  • @DarrenPollock alright, i know that your trying to send the message to youth because humor always gets them but using words like

pissy and stupid ? since when was it okay to say that? You should send the message positively other wise your not making any progress so i agree with @fblplaya85

  • @ItRhymesz With words like “stupid,” I think that the context is very important. Would I call a kid stupid? Of course I wouldn’t. Do I think that it is wrong to use the word in recounting a narrative? No, I don’t. The Bible itself is replete with this sort of language, when it helps to make a particular point. In Job 18, Job’s friends ask him why they are considered stupid (“mamah”) in his sight.

  • @ItRhymesz Proverbs 12:1 declares that those who hate correction are stupid/brutish (“ba’ar”). Ecclesiastes 10 says that even the gait of a fool shows people how stupid (“makhal”) he is. In Timothy 2:23, Paul counsels Timothy not to have anything to do with stupid (“moras,” from which we get the word “moron”) arguments.

  • @ItRhymesz There are plentiful examples of other offensive terms being used to make a particular point. In 1 Samuel 20:30, Saul calls his son Jonathan the son of a perverse, rebellious woman (which could also be translated “the son of perverse rebelliousness”… “ben ‘avah marduwth”), which in Hebrew is a rather vulgar term.

  • @ItRhymesz In Matthew 5:22, Jesus says that anyone who says to his brother “raca” is answerable to the Jewish high court. The Aramaic word “raca” is about as derogatory a term as there was in Aramaic. The BDAG Greek dictionary, when explaining the Greek transliteration of the Aramaic term, calls it “an uncomplimentary, perhaps foul epithet…a term of abuse”). Now, Matthew doesn’t record this as “the rho-word” or the “resh-word,” but puts the actual word there to fully express Jesus’ point.

  • @ItRhymesz Going back to the Old Testament…several times men are referred to as “those who urinate against the wall.” The Hebrew word “shathan” (translated in the King James as “pisseth”) was certainly not a word that was used in polite company, and yet it appears several times in the Old Testament.

  • @ItRhymesz Perhaps the clearest example is Paul in Philippians 3:8, where he says that he considers all things that are not Christ as “skubala,” compared to the joy of knowing Christ. Most English translations render this as “rubbish” or “garbage,” but the literal translation is “animal dung.” And doesn’t that make Paul’s point even more clearly?

  • @ItRhymesz It’s one thing to say that he considers other things as garbage—and something quite a bit more powerful to say that he considers them as (fill in your favorite word that denotes animal excrement here).

  • @ItRhymesz My point is that language doesn’t exist in a vacuum. The biblical injunctions against using certain kinds of language, I think, refer to not using language in a way that is hurtful to others (i.e. insults, gossip, slander, and the like). I don’t use strong profanity myself simply because I think it makes one sound stupid, and I limit my use of semi-offensive terms.

  • @ItRhymesz But if there’s a mildly off-color word that will be the best word to get my point across, I will—following biblical precedent—use that word.

  • @ItRhymesz I would never call a kid stupid, but I would use it in telling a story, or in saying that using drugs is stupid. And I would never tell a kid to “piss off” or anything like that, but I would describe a murderous king suffering from delusions and abject fear as being in a “pissy mood,” if I feel like that communicates Saul’s disposition better than “he wasn’t too happy that day.” It’s all about context and usage, I believe.

  • @ItRhymesz I am sorry if you were offended, but I do think that using this kind of language in this kind of a project is defensible.

  • @DarrenPollock the Bible uses that context to describe something else not making fun of someone, have you ever looked in one? As Gods people we shouldnt use that language especially to try and tell a story what if a a little kid saw this dont you think they would think its okay to call someone stupid? & where in the bible is "pissing" used? I'm not saying what you did her was not bad its pretty good but i guess we cant change things.

  • @DarrenPollock alright but i just think its rude to call a lion stupid.

  • @ItRhymesz It is rude.

  • this is so funny! and you did a really good job! lol god bless

  • wth aint that the singing voice of the little mermaid o.O

  • hahaha i love to kill little people (goliath) LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO

  • hij kent zn eien krachten niet jonguhh

  • lol

  • @solvssod "stuiped"? Since that is not a word, and thus has no defined meaning, I will choose to take that as a compliment

  • i love the into the woods reference. thanks!

  • @derekmichaelwest : isn't that a great musical? had to get the reference in there...the image of goliath appearing on the horizon in this cartoon always made me think of that song :)

  • 5:16 thats over 9feeeettttttttttttt

  • This brings me back, and still to this day it has powerful words.

  • These can not be the correct words! At 2:38 he says the word "pissy" for pissy mood! This is not the super book I remember. I think someone changed the words.

  • @LoveLoveSining he say's "here's alittle south paw central' you think that could be real hahah

  • @joeynovak2 "southpaw special" :)

  • AMELIE!!!! lmao this is so retarded... XDD i love it XD

also, i love the amelie music :D

  • Rofl this is awesome

  • OMG!! That is too cute. I give you two Thumbs and a big toe for the voice aciing and he syncing.

  • Thanks! Glad you liked it!

  • This is srsly funny.

  • this is sooooo cheez

  • I'm sorry you didn't like it, but I made this for teenagers, not toddlers. There are a lot of ways to communicate biblical narratives to different age groups, and just because one method doesn't work well with one age group doesn't make that method asinine. Perhaps you should preview YouTube videos before showing them to your 3 year-old.

  • the cartoons and the picture books have been such a help to me when i was a child and even now when i look to them its so encouraging, thanks for posting and no matter what anyone says, you are doing a blessed job, keep it up, keep praying, Jesus truly is so awesome! =D

  • pretty assinine what you did actually , I was looking for Bible stories for my three year old and instead she sees this

  • I remember these. My mom bought a whole video collection for us when we were kids. My favorite one was Jonah and Samson's story

  • O Fortuna from Carmina Burana by Carl Orff

  • whats the name of the song in the beginning

  • LOL Bro this is Hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • my favorite part is after "Ariel"/David is singing and the servant says "Oh No! you killed him!"....

what are tinker toys anyway? hehe

  • cheap

  • Hello. Do you have the original David and Goliath? I grew up on these and was hoping to show my boys. THanks.

  • I think you can get the original Hanna-Barbera cartoon on NetFlix

  • I have the orginal one my channel check it out

  • O Fortuna by Carl Orff plays at the start!
