@darcykidscare First, I think that 1 Samuel 14 makes it adequately clear that Saul's feelings about the Philistines could accurately be described by the English word "hate." As for "stupid," if you're asking a question that's more than rhetorical, you can read a comment I made earlier on this video about that kind of language in biblical narratives. God bless you too :)

Do I think that it is wrong to use the word in recounting a narrative? No, I don’t. The Bible itself is replete with this sort of language, when it helps to make a particular point. There are a lot of ways to communicate biblical narratives to different age groups, and just because one method doesn't work well with one age group doesn't make that method asinine.
