The elevator at Lubbock Country Club is a lot nicer. It is a 1921 elevator with old black buttons outside. It was originally Hunton-Hayes. It was modernized by dover in the 60s. You should watch that video.
Many of the Dover elevators in the Austin area are very nice, preferably the ones in vintage buildings, and historic buildings. Also, the stainless steel is becoming more popular, since it's easier to maintain, but the brass/bronze is nicer looking.
i think brushed brass is becoming the normal to replace the bronze but the bronze is alot more attractive for full front decor like in this one where brass should be used for the hall button panel
