Ones' personal strengths, skills and capabilities, and transferable skills are no longer a common factor for why good folks are fired. I was fired because the sales department in the organization did not fulfill their duties and goals, resulting in cost cutting of those even doing an excellent job making the product. Quality is losing ground for the sake of bottom lines increased profits that will eventually cause these "short term thinking" companies run by accountants to be out of business.
