Usually if people make a noise it puts you off the film, but it appears that the noise levels make no difference on the effect it has on people. Scary stuff it would seem. I think people are expecting this to be flat out scary - it just builds the tension and terror and keeps you on the nervous the whole time... that's what they mean by scary. The end of it made me feel like I was going to throw up.

It's the last scene. You can hear the demon's footsteps and then you can hear their reactions as the demon is looking at --- and you can hear the reaction as the demon smiles and then the sound of the lunging at the very end of this video.

Most likely the very end of the movie where Micah gets thrown into the camera. That's when the first scream happens. The scream at 0:37 is a spoiler, and it happens about 5 seconds before the end of the movie.
Honestly its not as scary as id hope it would be, it was a really good movie though. it does have its moments but the ending the best (though i would have preferred on of the other alternate endings) it didnt really make me jump out of my seat or anything (but my friend did) but worth watching :)
I'm sorry but Paranormal Activity 2 sucked, and it was so predictable...The third one made up for all the scares that the second film lacked.

paranormal activity was so scary. i may be 14, but scary movies just dont phase me. I have not seen any genuinely scary movies since i first saw the ecorcist. I came in laughing at this movie, and i came out shaking, crying, and with shortness of breath. this movie was a total MINDFUCK

I loved this. I've never been to a movie where the lobby was packed and this film sold out 3 showings. The audience, just like every one else, was screaming, making comments, laughing together. It's an experience.
I think people are expecting this to be flat out scary - it just builds the tension and terror and keeps you on the nervous the whole time... that's what they mean by scary. The end of it made me feel like I was going to throw up.

saw the Exorcist, didn't scare me much. Only movie that scared was Silience of the Lambs, horror movies are so retarded these days with gore, cussing, and hot girls. I've got weird standards in movies, don't ask haha. Whenever someone says "Clarice" in that weird tone, I jump XD but the Exorcist didn't scare me. I also thought the Blair Witch Project was really stupid. This movie looks pretty scary though.

tutorwife, have you even seen the movie? It's scary. I've seen my fair share of horror movies too but only this has had an affect on me. If you did see it, you probably fuckin watched it on your computer. A lot of people who say it's not scary watched illegally on their computers. It's a different experience in the theater.

It's the last scene. You can hear the demon's footsteps and then you can hear their reactions as the demon is looking at --- and you can hear the reaction as the demon smiles and then the sound of the lunging at the very end of this video.

Most likely the very end of the movie where Micah gets thrown into the camera. That's when the first scream happens. The scream at 0:37 is a spoiler, and it happens about 5 seconds before the end of the movie.

Honestly its not as scary as id hope it would be, it was a really good movie though. it does have its moments but the ending the best (though i would have preferred on of the other alternate endings) it didnt really make me jump out of my seat or anything (but my friend did) but worth watching :)
