Christianity in a nutshell:  God(father) created the earth. Adam and Eve brought sin into the world. No one can go to Heaven unless sinless. EVERYONE is a sinner. God(father) sent Jesus(son) to witness to the world, and ultimately die on the cross. So that if we believe in him that we may not perish, but rather be "seen" as sinless.
