You're one of the most important singer-songwriters of the new generation that has yet to emerge onto the scene. What do you think of the new Harper Simon album? I'm 95% sure you've heard it. I'ma buy your album when it comes out. Justin Nozuka is pretty good. However, I'm 95% sure that you're more talented than any of the guys in that Vampire Weekend combo. Bruce Springsteen did not sing "Centerfield" in the 80s. However, I saw John Fogerty perform at a Bruce show and play "Centerfield."

I hadn't heard of Harper Simon till I read your comment. I'm blown away by The Audit... I'm planning on getting his album as well as some Costello with Bacharach around this Christmas. Though I shelled out 100 bucks for Martin Tielli's subscription series...!

Yeah I had a feeling Springsteen did not do Centerfield, but it was late and I like gettting facts wrong.

Didn't mean to pressure you, man. Yeah, Harper Simon is pretty good. Apparently he was in a band called Menlo Park for a few years but I have yet to track down those recordings. Probably more good stuff, though.
