Cool vid, I liked the ore train.

I am planning on getting some BN ore cars myself, and I wondered if their were some downsides to them, like derailments and such. Thanks! :-)

Thanks. I don't know anything about the ore cars as they aren't mine. The derailment was caused by the operator stopping his train to clean the loco wheels, and didn't tell me, so I rear ended him.

I am going to start my first layout and I currently have a pair of Kato ac4000 locomotives, a dcc system and a 14 X 16 room. Any layout plan suggestions? Are the Katos any good or what do they compare to. i am new to this and my two sons want to start this prodject. I am trying to get some ideas off you vid. any advice will be helpful!!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!!!!!!

What are the dimensions of the layout, and are there several different levels, or is it just one grade?

The layout is like 40x20 roughly, and it's one flat grade. Kind of boring most of the time.
