idk where u go for amtgard that makes you think the hits are light. In my area everyone goes home sore after the park days, the weapon's padding just makes sure that nothing is too damaging. I have never seen anyone wearing plate armor not be able to feel a strike. Also while i use speed sticks myself (my strikes are still hard enough), there are some weapons that just plain hurt (8ft warpole to the chest sucks).
@ERICARTMAN92 Amptguard's weapon's are light as fuck. Plus you have a limit on how hard you can hit. I hardly think you could get someone who is wearing full plate armor to notice your hits with those speedbats you fight with.
And what makes Dagorhir better than amptguard is, We have super easy to follow rules, no magic, we came before amptguard, darkon, nero, and belagarth. And people have left Dagorhir because they thaught it was too intense.
@kyusama347 You make some good points there. One last question, is it true that all Dagorhir weapons and garb have to look time correct, like they were actually made in the Medieval days? I heard this from a man who use to play Dagorhir.

I find it ironic the dude whos responsible for safety takes his rage out on people with a stick..........HMMMMM anyone else find something wrong here? I think the marshallate needs a change

Looks interesting, but the biggest problem I have is how many AMTGARD fighters lead with their head, just because it's not a legal target area.
