in an area where we have owners like Jerry Jones (3 superbowls) and Mark Cubin (10 years winning record and countless playoff appearances) then we have old Tom Hicks the guy that spenet 250 million on 1 player lol when we could of got 5 starting pitchers for that.. even if they go to the world series they will be like the Marlins and get rid of there players.. I agree, and so will every other Rangers fan, that Tom Hicks is a horrible owner. However, he usually doesn't stick his nose into who we trade away, only who we sign (because it's his money). He has Ryan and Daniels to control operations. I like how you think he controls GM duties when all he does is hire them. Jones and Cuban are GM's for there respected franchises, but as of late have proven that they aren't capable of getting it done. Watch and you'll realize I'm right.

i grew up watching the texas rangers.. dont try telling me about there dumb farm system. They just cant ever pan out to be good players in the majors.. if you look at the past the rangers themselves are a proven farm system as a whole to the yankees and redsox..

Daniels has an enormous amount of "untouchable" players. There completely loaded, so much that if they needed a big name player they could do it. Stop thinking about the old Rangers, they'll never come back. You'll start to see what is like last year Rays team.

Hitler sounds like a lot of Rangers fans. And the part about Brandon McCarthy's arm exploding was hilarious. We gave up John Danks for him and Danks is pitching great for the White Sox while McCarthy can't even stay healthy. And Millwood DOES give up at least 2 bombs every time he pitches.

Now Liverpool fans have the feeling what us Rangers fans have had to put up with over the past decades. Wonderful hitters, god awful pitchers. If baseball pennants were won with hitting only, we would have won several world series.

At least Tom Hicks has taken the attitude of Adloph. He hired god help us Nolan Ryan as president of the club to change this horrible condition. At least Ryan knows you can't bash your way to the pennant, its takes good old fashion pitching. Lots of pitching.
