Well if we're talking about facts the fact is the Isthmian Leagues are the "average teams", but speaking of the Premier League they are average. The league is not divided in two, it is divided in 3. The top 4, the relegation fodder, and everyone else (Everton included). Therefore they are average. And yes he's been capped by England that doesn't mean he should have been or that he's good enough, the fact is there is no one else good enough either, after the starters.
