sad to hear about the railway section one of my favorite working models was a locomotive called lady of the lake is the original stevensons rocket and the replica still there
my first visit was in 1960 when i was 9 years old how some of the working models still work is a marvel considering the use that they get great fun watching people use the van der graff genereator
@paulboon I grew up in the 70s and went many a time- then they had huge trains and stuff!!! All that has been very much reduced! They were also a good group!!
This is great-I could stay there all day.I wish there was one close to me,I think the closest one is about 800 or 900 miles or 1448 kilometers away.Thanks for sharing--I really enoyed this.

@paulboon My mate is a train driver!!! He loves all that type of stuff!! The LOTL is gone! But the rocket replica is still there!!!
