Another problem with the rotate-the-control-stick games is that it is horrendously easy to erode the plastic of the control stick on an N64 controller...

a lot of coin-hoarding mini-games. I think I even had a 50 coin gain in Cast Aways. I don't remember though, it was so long ago.

I totally agree with the Skateboard Scamper game. It's pretty much a random winner at the end when its neck-to-neck. The second Mario Party, in my opinion, fixed that if you know how to get the extra distance.

Something like what you explained at the 8-minute mark happend to me in Mario Party 4. I had like 130 coins, Waluigi had 6, he got a Reversal of Fortune, and we swapped coins. THEN, DK won the lottery, & Daisy swapped coins w/ hm. In the end, Daisy & I had the same amount of stars, but she had more coins than me, so she won. It SUCKED!!!

You know, something like that happened to me, but I earned all those benefits and had over 300 coins. You'd think that would be sweet, but the problem was, in Koopa's Seaside Soiree, I was stuck on that looping area between the junctions and hut after my winnings until the very end , and I couldn't spend a SINGLE coin on ANYTHING. No stars, no items, NOTHING! Just going around in circles like a RETARD!

So I guess the lesson is: The game will screw you over in any way it can.

I have to agree; Pedal Power is definitely the least strenuous of all the rotate the control stick mini-games, considering you don't have to out-rotate other players. =P
