  • this would have been a PERFECT song for sweden in 1975 - i'm sure this would have given ding dinge dong a huge run for its money but perhaps that was the problem?

  • @pmd1977 Sweden didn't want to risk winning again in 1975, mainly for financial reasons.

  • Fattar inte hur den här låten inte kunde vinna.

  • Great song Nice video.

  • Excellent!

Thank you for sharing this version!

I know this song with( Abba) Band.

    Regards

  • @THEmotownboy Disparaging remarks made in reference to the late great Karen Carpenter will not be tolerated ! Have some respect for the supreme talent that was KC. I am an Abba fan and I like this version - probably only because it's such a great song - but ABBA's version rules.

  • Is it wrong that I think that this is better than Abba's version?

  • Svenne var så jäkla cool på den tiden!

  • riktigt grym låt aså

  • Love it. Svenne has such bizarre body posture it makes me think of Frankenstein crossed with Quasimodo dancing in gogo boots

  • Så BRA !

  • Wow! Thanks for posting that! It's so nice to see this performance! I love both versions (ABBA's and S&L's). I just have a doubt. Is Lotta's swedish good? As I am not a native speaker, I can't really say it. It's seems to me, that i't's quite good, as she is american. Thanks again!

  • :o I didn't even realise she wasn't a native Swedish speaker. xD She sounds fluent. 0.0 Some words may be off - like början - but that could just be put down to a difference in dialect. oO

    Amazing...

  • Her swedish is really good, but still she has a little bit of an accent.

  • ahahah det ser ut som han är gay XD men låten är bra :D

  • Great performance. That wild swedish umn....exhuberance from the audience :|

  • His hair looks like a women. Reminds me of Karen Carpenter hairdo during the 1970 period. Ha Ha Ha......

  • OMG this is fab from the melodie fest 1975 Back in the day when ABBA could do no wrong

  • svenne & lotta is so great! They are mutch better then abba!

  • the dance steps of svenne appears a little womanish and awkward

  • From A man Who calls himself Aunty, thats a bit strong. ( Tante Is Dutch For Aunty)

  • First, TANTE is german, and of course it means AUNT, but the combination of aunt with a male name is just a nick and a pun, too.

And I have always thought Britains have a more sense for humor...

    Yours sincerely

  • I do have a very good humor ,but please don't assume that it is British, also as with a lot of things the Dutch and German language have many words common to both, Tante being one.

  • Åh, jag älskar denna låten! S & L gör den sååå bra! Love you!

  • gryyymt bra

  • Love it. Better then Abba's "cover". Especially Lotta is great.

  • Better than ABBA?? Holy shit, you must be pretty deaf. Agnetha and Frida sang this one MUCH better.

  • The original arists with the original language version! This will never be an ABBA-song to me!

By the way, as Svenne & Lotta or Sven & Charlotte, they were also the first ones to release the english language version, not Abba :-)

  • But the song was made by abba and they gave it to them for the melodifestivalen :) because abba don't wanted to release it and they did!

  • The backingtrack yes. But its a matter of who released it first - and Svenne & Lotta did, therefor their song is the original and ABBAs the cover.

  • I've been looking for this; thanks a lot!

  • A great big kiss for Lotta, we love you!
