the solution is not to fight for peace, who do we fight? if we have any enemy we will never have unity. the answer it's simply to be peaceful toward all people- and the more who do this the more will follow their example
I would love to see a peace and Lover revolution again and even better i would like to see it work. LKast time we all got demoralized, dehumanised and dismissed as drug induced fools. What an insulkt, then to make it worse so many of us sold ou and fell fro their facism. Whats the difference now adays, we cannot peacefully assemble and have no freedom of speech, they learned and now prepaired. If peacefull revolution doesnt work we only havwe one choice
really powerful. the line "we won't be here to do it again" really makes me miss my ferocious grandparents. we owe your generation a lot and we'll try to take up the good work you did for us, thanks sir.
not only did u sing this sooo well, but i love your lyrics you put in here! and i am sure Willie would be sooo extremely happy with your rendition of this important message of hope and peace! and u even have the willie look down too! willie for sure would be proud!
I think its great you are using your energy to wake people up and realize what's up. To know and understand America is to read and understand the history of " The Declaration of Indepence" and why it was written and signed in the first place.
Then one will understand that we started losing America a long time ago when creditors became preditors. G.W.
Hey Shas, you have your work cut out over there with the likes of Bush and McCain - I think the world is holding out for Obama.....(thanks for your comment on my song ("where is the love") - your positive vibes are now resonating through the humid Northern Territory/ Darwin air as well.....
YAY!! I really enjoy your vids!! :) i shared your last vid, and i will this one too!! and I LOVE Willie Nelson! He is one of few people i have on my list to meet! heheh he is a truly great being! and so are you !! peace brother!!
Bill O'Rights? Who's that? I haven't heard about the Bill of Rights in years.
Bless George Mason for insisting that the Constitution contain the Bill of Rights, otherwise it's all nonsense. Today, let's insist that those rights be resurrected!
Shas, I wouldn't change a thing - as you definitely made it your own with all those cool lyrics. Bob Dylan often does this with his covers. I just listened to Willie's a capella version on the website and pretty much just followed it word for word, which was pretty hard on the last verse. I think a lot of people desired to re-write or add because the lyrics really are not that well balanced, but again I don't think that was his intention with the song. Hope this helps a little! Mark
Ahem! *bowing and blushing* Thank you for your generous response. I am quite puffed up about it. But this is my very first attempt and nobody is helping me make it better! I can't do much about the singing, but the lyrics? the order? the number of repetitions? the melody? the outfit? the squint?
Shas, this is a beautiful interpretation of Willie's song. I feel like I got to know you a little better by your lyric additions. You gave us something close to your heart and it conveys a great moving living history. The uke conjures uplifting feelings of freedom and fresh air. Thank you for participating "...one more time." Look forward to featuring you. Liz
"I dont like tear gas, but I'll do it again!" I love it. This sentiment is TRUE patriotism. Somewhere we lost our way Shas, thanks for the song and the reminder to stand up for what is right. Keep up the good work.

Great stuff Shas! I think I've missed this one, but it's really good, one of your best I think. And Willie is so great.
By the way: I might have an anti war song for you coming up - I think I might have found some lyrics in the back of my head.
