@bigtruckseriesreview Disliking the game is one thing but saying it was horrible, c'mon. The game maybe didn't live up to the hype and it wasn't as good as previous Dukes, it could have been a lot better. But to give it lower than a 5/10 is a little extreme imo.

I mean it wasn't just overhyped...after 12 fucking years it should be, to quote Duke...but wasn't. I can't mark down for graphics, as they wanted a game that played a bit older style...but as for actual content I mark down a bit. When Duke repeats the same thing 5 times in a row during battle, it gets old. I did like the guns though.

@TheWizenhymer You c'mon. This game was so short. Nowdays they are doing so shitty games - like mafia 2. What they did? I finished M2 in two days. Everything is prepered only for DLC - duke nukem too - finished in 3 days. I remember playing games for a month, like M1, gta and other. Now it was like a mini game. And this whole short shit was prepared from 14 years? C'mon!

@Adamo1890 It wasn't made in 14 years, the game was actually made in about 8 months. I agree games ain't what they used to be, trust me I feel the same way. But you still can't believe reviewers. If you think Duke Nukem deserved a 3/10 compared to Call of Duty getting a 9/10 than that is sad. At least Duke Nukem wasn't another generic military cod clone shooter. And that I can respect.

@TheWizenhymer 14 years in development, a few engine changes, a lawsuit, budget cuts, a staff change, a company change, very impatient fans that's what kept DNF from being what it could be. personally I would give it a 7.5/10 mainly for the 1 liners and the ability to drive a monster truck plus the freezethrower. I will admit it I myself waited all them years for 1 game and it was kinda worth it and kinda not worth it, the nostalgia feeling is what was truely missing.
