  • I want a lynx baby as a pet. But I know I cant cause they need to live in the wild. I wanna have a lynxfriend atleast out in the woods.

  • Quote "Dad and I seen" Just wanna let you know. And you're pretty lucky to find a lynx, I'm jealous! Where was this?

  • @Hahahahahafuckyou This was near snow lake, Manitoba, Canada.

  • Wow, you`re lucky. They`re very shy. And they allowed you to get out of the car and follow them.. Amazing!

  • @Yellyist Yes I felt very lucky! actually followed one of them into the bush on another occasion, it always stayed the same distance away(about 30 feet) if I moved a foot closer it would move a foot away.

  • where is this?

  • I find them rather cute @_@

  • Thanks for your patience...I suspect you wanted to narrate this footage...I'm glad you didn't...it was a nice feel...little words...thanks for this!

  • Nice. That's a once in a lifetime event

  • Thanks for sharing!!!!!

  • Where was this? I saw one running across the road in Elliot Lake.

  • I Can't Imagine One Reason Why People Would Kill The Lynx. When You Think About It If People Grew To Them Before They (Maybe) Go Extinct They Could Be Really Friendly!! I Wish There Were More Of Them Though... <3 I LOVE LYNX'S!!

  • I want to make a rug out of one of these..

  • @FuriousPixel you are stupid. Maybe someone should make a rug out of you and piss on it.

  • @sarakrow

I dont have fur and it would be against the law.

  • nice video!

  • I envy you for this experience.

  • amazing isn't it?:)

  • Great lynx footage - though I'd hardly call those "kittins" - adolescents perhaps.

  • Damn you are so close, siick

  • Nice video.

  • lynx are awesome ^^

  • Where is this? How come they aren't afraid?

  • Nice little pack.

They are just minding their own business. Something we have yet to learn from animals.

To mind our own fucking business.

  • @FrikZz0r u suck

  • Lynx are one of the safest animals in the forest when there is no man hunting them. can rival any animal on there shared territory. and can shelter up trees, if outnumbered

  • my favourite cat!!!!

Dont hunting them try to support them!!

If you want to hunt try birds and bunnies at least man... these animals are not in big numbers any more!!!!

It's shame for our kids !!!

  • rich westerners come in my country and kill the carpathian lynx for their own pleasure and I hate it! one day they'll be gone. such a beautiful cat...they're very hard to spot where I live

  • well if you like hunting so much then you have to get used to the thought that one day you will be admiring these animals only in pictures and books

  • Bentmex, relax. You were not in any danger with these cats. I have had similar experiences with these animals in the wild. Unless its rabid, they really just are very curious. Good film.

  • I only got a little worried when I was about 10 feet away, they were hunting and wanted nothing to do with me, the young ones seemed a little couriois.

  • I am a biologist who has radio tracked a lot of bobcats in Florida. I will tell you flat out that this film is extremely rare, for as secretive as Lynx can be. Totally impressed with this.

  • nice!

  • Fantastic footage!

  • I cant even begin to describe how rare this encounter is! You are privileged.

  • @Kezdiman Thanks!

  • you shouldn't got near a lynx with kittins dude.... For your own safety..

  • normally i would agree.. but these lynxes in particular didn't seem to really notice or care about the people filming.

I've hear in general these types of lynxes are a bit for timid than others

you can, in fact, own these as pets due to their more tame nature. just have to find a breeder.

  • @minxb89

Normally where I filmed this you wouldn't even see them but since there is little to no hunting or trap lines they have become used to the road and people stopping to take pics. What I did was NOT safe...

  • oh.. I heard thst breed was relatively timid as far as lynxes go..but I'll take your word on it.

not that there's much chance I'd ever be in your situation. I life in virginia beach.

snow is foreign concept..as are lynxes lol

  • im guessing u live in canada? My next door neighbour has a half tabby half canadian lynx. It is very big and very strong. Its like 40% bigger then a normal cat!

  • Ntaaw! Makes me dont want to shoot them :( Beautiful animals, Next year I will go hunting for them, but its hard. Wierd that you got that close! strange... Good video thank you! ( and a very nice car, hehe )

  • Thanks. I would actually love to have one as a pet or even taxidermed? correct term? I couldn't shoot it myself tho.:)

  • I dont think we are allowed to have those as a pet here in Norway where I live, but I would definitely want to have one taxidermied! or maybe hunt one and just have the skin of it on the wall, cause thats not as expencive :)

  • Ever considered just letting the animal live?

  • @1980NewWave

I don't get it, does filming them kill them?

  • @1980NewWave Wow... He did not do anything to them at all.. They are unharmed and on their way and now we all get to see a beautiful video of these AWESOME creatures in the wild.. Awesome video!

  • @chipsahoy85 - I know that. My comment was in response to someone else on this thread who said he thinks lynx are great but he'd like to shoot one.

  • @1980NewWave That is why they invented the reply button, to avoid misunderstandings. I was also about to diss your post until I saw this haha

  • @1980NewWave When the hell did you become an expert on animal abuse?

"OH NO. HE SAW AN ANIMAL. CALL THE POLICE!"

You can't have one animal video on youtube without the false accusation of "abuse."

  • @DarkIllusionHokage - my comment had nothing to do with this video. I was responding to another commenter here who stated that if he saw a lynx, he'd shoot the animal.

So now you can untie your knickers, ok?

  • @1980NewWave I see, kinda wish you would of actually replied to him so I would of known that.

  • @1980NewWave u dumb!?

  • It costs the animal its life. Not expensive, eh? =(

  • well considering how many of they who lives its not as expensive. Animals are not like humans, ofc they have feelings, but we have been hunting them and we always will... no matter if u like it or not :(

  • lynx are almost extinct so not that many around. We also use to hunt and eat each other so making definitive comments like "we always will" is plain silly. Lucky for you wild animals like the lynx do not have thought processes like man otherwise given what we've done to them and their habitats we'd scarcely be able to leave our homes without being taken out.

  • @Gonamez how could you say such a thing why would you shoot or eat a poor cute animal? or i can't believe i'm going to say this word that i hate so much but taxidermied animals do not deserve that even if you did not kill the cute little animal why on earth would you make a trophy out of animals? it's people like you that are making all the worlds animals extinct

  • @SarasSasuke he didn't harm the animal at all didn't u c the same vid as i did

  • wow, that looks like the cat version of a wolf.

    very very nice.

  • Where is this? Good vid by the way.

  • Thanks. This is in northern Manitoba near a small town called Snow lake.

  • i'm surprised how onconcerned they were about you. Really a treat to see with the kittens.thx for sharing

  • They are in a area without alot of hunting or poaching and with the current construction traffic I suppose they are somewhat "used" to it.

  • oualala ça me rend fou une video pareille! jveux faire la même! lol
