This is not Zydeco, and many Zydeco songs don't have a lick of cajun french or creole in them. This is cajun music that borrows from many different genres, however it's still very different from Zydeco music.
I just bought their CD "Cow Island Hop" this weekend while I was at the Cite des Arts in Lafayette. I was attending the Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival, and I looked through their CD's for this particular band, because they played a concert in Monroe and I remembered them (I'm the guy that gave you the broken four-leaf-clover ring, Anna). Anyway, kids, I bought the last CD. Y'all need to go and re-up them so they can sell some more. OH! and I partied at the Blue Moon tonight. Bon temps rouler!
It is nice to see the young Cajuns following tradition. Every one of you has a gift. Don't ever stop doing what you do. I only wish that you will pass this tradition along to your children. With that being said, send me some boudin to Tampa!
Saw these youngsters in 03' [ I think ] at the American Folk Festival in Bangor , Me .
FANTASTIC ! ! Bought one of their cd's . would love to see them again up here !!

Lovely, Great, Bloody Good :D
However, you'all look like newbies, so a lil' more life required (especially from the bass and rhythm players - and more nimble fingers)!

This is not cajun but zydeco as it has a recognisable blues tinge. Basically Zydeco is Cajun music played by french speaking black lousianans.

Excellent.
This great tunes. The rhythm is excellent. Make that violin sound pretty. Which of course you do.
I know Mexicans love this rhythm. Violin and accordion what else do you want. I don't care if it is in English, Spanish, or Italian.
Is this what you call Cajun country music?
Perfecto.

No, this is modern Cajun music. Cajun country music would be like DL Menard
