  • Is he Sunni or Shia? Just wondering:)

  • @serenityxoxo sunni

  • @serenityxoxo Sunni

  • i used to go pray el fajr behind him years ago in masjid abu bakr el sedeeq. miss you ya sheikh and miss you ya masr. being in the masjid praying behind him is another experience.

  • بس الله ما شاء الله

  • may ALLAH except his efforts and may the blessed quran which he recites so beautifully be a means of salvation for him in this world and the next.

  • @ThePCGuild - i said that hypothetically. and then you will the wisdom behind the point. the point being made was, the point of having a beard has no direct correlation to his deeds or iman - yes it is a good thing to have a beard, but it is nt bearing of his character.lot of people are saying the fact that he is not keeping a beard is a bad thing without looking at the context. that is all - beard and sins is worse than no beard and good deads - thats the point (hypthetical

  • @ThePCGuild hahah ur being funny - i said that hypothetically. and then you will the wisdom behind the point. the point being made was, the point of having a beard has no direct correlation to his deeds or iman - yes it is a good thing to have a beard, but it is nt bearing of his character.lot of people are saying the fact that he is not keeping a beard is a bad thing without looking at the context. that is all - beard and sins is worse than no beard and good deads - thats the point (hypthetical

  • Mashallah beautifull... Amazing recitation

  • ich liebe der muhammad jebril der singt sehrrrrr gut Kuran elham dulilah selam alejkummm

  • Salaam alaikum

Please make dua for me to ALLAH SWT in this last 10 days of ramadhan so I may become a better muslim and have patiance and be a better son to my parents and a better servent to my creater.

    Jazakallah khairun

  • he doesnt have a beard because the place his from dont allow them to have beards, most qaris dont have one because where there from dont allow them. remember his janaat is made think about whether your going janaat or not

  • @skyhopefear Oh, I see, it seems like you got some Wahi (revelation) or something, and you already know if his Jannat is made.

  • you keep a beard , and you sin away in your life.

he doesnt keep a beard ,and he is reciting quran, a hafiz and knows more quran that perhaps we will ever know.

    who is the better individual?

    you with the beard?

    or him without?

think that through and you wil see how pointless it is to attempt to put him down for not having a beard.

  • salam..mashallah beautidull..but where is part 3.....

  • there are many things that are not in the quran, yet they are obligatory. the salat for example. allah ordered us to pray, but he did not tell us how. rather he reveiled to the prophet how to pray and how many times to pray.

  • although it is obligatory to grow a beard, it does not mean he can not lead the salat.

  • You are not allowed to grow a beard in Egypt I Presume. That is why the Egyptian Qaris do not have beards like Qari Abdul Basit.

  • "We did not leave anything out of this book, then all will be gathered before their Lord (for judgment). Those who do not believe our verses are deaf and dumb; in total darkness. God sends astray whomever He wills, and directs whomever He wills in the right path." (6:38-39)

"Shall I seek other than God as a source of law, when He revealed THIS BOOK FULLY DETAILED? (6:114)

"The word of your Lord is COMPLETE in truth & justice." (6:115)

  • If growing a beard is essential to our salvation as muslims, or something that would make us better muslims, surely god would have mentioned it in the quran after all god mentions a lot of things that we can do to be good muslims and have great iman, but never once did he mention growing a beard. and by god saying "nothing is left out of this book" god is saying that he told us everything that is required everything that is needed. these are not my words but gods words.

    salamualykum

  • I do not mean in any way disrespect, but allah has granted me a small pece of knowledge that he has not yet blessed you. it is in the quran, and you will find it if you ponder it . allah says in surat an-najm: nor does he speak of his own desires, it is only a revilation reveiled. according to the scholars of tafseer, this means that the statments of the prophet are also a revilation from him, his word, and a part of the book, thus the meaning of the verses 6:114 & 115

  • @hassanalajmy Salam brother, I respectfully disagree with that statement. When the Quran says "he does not speak of his own desires" it is referring to the accusations being herald at him by the Kufar. It is saying that those words he is uttering are not his, it is Gods, " Had he (Muhammad) uttered any other teachings, We would have grabbed him by the right, and We would have severed his Wateen " 69: 43-47. The prophet could not teach anything other then what the quran says

  • Assalaamu alaikum

brother I respectfully disagree with you on growing a beard being obligatory in islam. We cannot make something obligatory in our religion that god did not make obligatory. To say it is required is to say that it is part of the religion if thats the case then it surely would be in the quran because IT is required in the religion. Allah said in the quran that "nothing is left out of this book" even the rasool was not allowed to teach anything religious thats not in the quran

  • "This (Quran) is the utterance of an honorable messenger. It is not the utterance of a poet; rarely do you believe. Nor is it the utterance of a soothsayer; rarely do you take heed. A revelation from the Lord of the universe. HAD HE EVER UTTERED ANY OTHER RELIGIOUS UTTERANCES (attributed to us), we would have punished him severely, then we would have stopped the revelation to him (fired him). None of you could have protected him against us." (69:4047)

  • but growing the beard is not a condition for leading the salat

  • Salam. Brother don't judge other people, for you do not know what's in his heart.

Allah (az zawajal) will judge him accordingly and judge you accordingly also.

I pray to Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) that you haven't violated this sheikh's rights by backbiting him. Allah knows best.

    Was salam.

  • no its not!!!

  • can you please explain how not

  • how is it disobeying the quran??

  • because it says in the Quran obey Allah and obey his messenger

  • salam.

sense the quran is the only thing the rasool preached and could preach you obey the messenger by obeying the quran. (69:4047) tells us the rasool could not preach anything religious other then the quran so to say he said growing a beard is mandatory or part of the religion is wrong because he simply could not give religious law that god did not give him in the quran. The rasool said of himself in the quran that he could not benefit himself or anyone else, he just followed the quran.

  • maşallah çok etkileyici

    sanki yaşayan bir kuran..

    allah eksik etmesin..

  • I hope he wasn't reading at this speed during the whole month!

  • actually he does BUT he tours the entire world including the USA. i like this style.

  • @nhgulam does he tour during ramadan? because ive read that if you lead a taraweeh in one musjid you cant lead taraweeh in another salah...

  • I'd be really happy being part of this, his voice make me cry. i don't care about speed.

  • AMAZING RECITATION!! my favourite Qaari ever!! wow how he recites surah Ad-Duha at the end!!! love his voice mashallah and inshallah i will get the chance to pray behind him 1 day! please pray 4 me and for all our brothers and sisters around the world, especially in this blessed month! jazakallah.. wassalam!

  • Where in the Qur'an or sunnah does it say that a brother needs a beard to lead salah? Sheikh Muhammad Jebril, is among the best Muslim scholars in the world. A beard is not an example of a brother's character. There are lots of brothers with beards who act like kufars. Also, you should keep in mind that this sheikh resides in Egypt, and although it is a majority Muslim nation, he would get insulted and oppressed if he would grow a beard. Just my two cents. Ma salaams

  • what if a person can't grow a beard? does that mean God disqualifies him? my beard grows in patches and it looks terrible (like some asians).. no where in Quran does it say you need to have a beard.

  • Yo, did you read my comment? Your just replying...next time please try to read first before you post a reply. Thanks

  • very weird question!!

  • a beard doesnt make him a better or worse brother I havent seen anywhere that u have to have a beard to lead salah
