I think this says that the eva (his mom) is always watching him even if he's completely alone take notice how the two girls left with their mom in the previous video and though Shinji appears to be alone his mother, the eva, is always there watching him
Its weird, when hes the kid ((at the very begining of this video)) Behing him looks like 2 eyes ((Eva Eyes)) and the sandcastle looks like the top of NERV HO, dont you think?

Post modernism, the eyes are supposed to be the Eva's eyes I think, and the sand box is supposed to be nerv HQ.
