I have a question for you John. I understand your message, but what do I do now? I feel like I can't do anything. You said that you've become a prayer, you believe in fasting.. can you explain that? I feel like even reading the bible is religious or even praying to God because it requires works on my behalf. What direction do I take? What steps can I take forward? I feel like I cant do anything except either be sinful or religious. What should I do/think in normal everyday normal life in grace?

(I elaborated my point below) I feel like even being prophetic is mustering ups and tapping ins.. is that what you're supposed to do? If so/not, how do you 'communicate' with God properly? Ex: If I complain to God about my circumstances, I feel honest but meloncholy. If I trust in God, I feel better about trusting but maybe religious? Help identify this fine line?
@Hillbillykid2000 If John Crowder is 'splitting hairs' over it why can't I? I'm just being honest and I believe God is the best minister. But sometimes people are different and ask questions about what they are meditating on if they have a question instead of being a mindless drone. As he said you can't drum up your own faith so I'm seeing where God's leading my heart not what someone else is telling me to do or what I fear I should be doing.

@min3stron3 one thing that I have accepted is I don't always get all the answers right away and its no big deal if i don't know or understand all .I don't really care about it all .John Crowder to me has alot of understanding about things like the cross of Christ and grace and faith and I really do appreciate what he has to say about these things .
@min3stron3 I dont think its that he's saying anything is wrong with prayer, etc. what we cannot do is use these things as a means to acheive a right standing with God. Dont be fearful of sinning or being religious. Fear produces what we are afraid of. Love made perfect is absent of all fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear...TRUST, RELY ON, BELIEVE the words of Grace you have just received and trust me, they will manifest. Give up...Don't be afraid...God is already pleased with you :)
What is the most clear translation of the Good News of the Gospel? Is any one more clearer than another or is it up to Holy Spirit and us to see through the paticular translation? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question. Sincerely wondering.....
9 years ago I was bound up in self-salvation to the nth degree. I searched deep within myself looking for a part of me which God would approve of and justify. I couldn't find it and despaired. Finally, it dawned on me it's 'not I, but Christ' whether I believed it or not. I told myself, 'this is true whether I believe it or not'. I had nowhere else to go with it. I had reached an empasse. Then came the relief. THen came the rest. Then came the freedom. Then came the joy. Then came the Glory.
@gcmusicpro My understanding is it's a gift. If Christ gives me faith, it wasn't something I worked up, but it is still mine. Faith isn't about believing the chair will hold me up; it isn't experiential e.g: I know the chair will keep my weight because I've sat on many chairs before. Faith is something that comes from God that works... faith works, it actually does something. I can't make faith up. It's so supernatural that it can only come from God. God gives it to us and it becomes ours.
Honest Question... How does this relate to several places where Jesus seems to refer to peoples faith as the agent that brought them their healing. Like the video, but not sure about the full application. Can someone help me, in Love please.
Im sure God means it when he says that Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our Faith, Im also sure he's everything in between too. Thank God he stepped in for me and believed God LOL
