  • I once downloaded and tried Parted Magic and it worked great. Then I downloaded the next release, and the next, and the next, and none of them worked worth a damn after that, so i quit using it. Now I just use gparted on the Ubuntu live CD and do backups with Clonezilla.

  • @linuxguy2009 maybe time to give it another go then matey....

  • Google Chrome phones home to HQ, no thanks

  • yeah, Google Chrome is pretty awesome. Chromium and Iron browsers are alternatives too and are basically very much like Chrome. Iron supposedly brings more security to the user.

  • So more distros are finally ditching Firefox. Its just too slow. Time to move on.

  • I'm very happy cause there are an increasing number of distros which have firefox removed

  • What an excellent program! I've used Puppy Linux to get me out of trouble before when hard drives won't boot and this looks like it could be very useful.
