  • WTF, where is that snow?...snowchains for the win...

  • Chains....?

  • Lorry driver own a beer to the plow driver and the chaps removing the snow with the shovels!

  • lol you know snow chains? snow..... chains? got it? xD

  • should have lifted the lift axle on the unit that would have put more weight on the drive axle , he had no weight on as the front axle on the trailer is up showing there is no weight in the trailer

  • лентяй подними!

  • Order your truck tires from Sweden, then you have no problem more. You could lift the pusher axle....

  • Mr. Plow Mr. Plow that name again is Mr. Plow..... :P

  • four wheel drive on the tractor would have taken it out of there.

the plow or plough as some call it was useless as well.

If it would have taken the snow down to road surface and then salt

he would have been out of there in no time.

  • No biggie, the contents can't be worth more than a tenner. It would be tragic if we couldn't get our daily fix of 'Scrongefloff' or whatever the fook it's called.

  • lol lame as fuck thats not snow or ice im from the UK up north where it snows more and now i live in Zurich Switzerland and it dont snow alittle here it snows ALOT AND I MEAN ALOT the UK is pathetic to the fact you dont have the right tyres is the main cause of vehicals getting stuck and when the goverment realises this things like this wont happen ;)

top gear top tip get better tyres and its problems 95% solved

  • @SRSpoony You're right but did you know that here in the UK putting on winter tyres actually nulls your insurance or puts the premium up?

  • @AdsLeech yeah i did know that since im actually from the UK sheffield to be exact. that is why i put into my post .......... when the goverment realises this things like this wont happen ............... it is them who made the rule about winter tyres and therefore insurence companies say your insurence is null and void. i know this because my wife works for Winterthur insurence for vehicals as is a translator for overseas drivers. the prob is you can buy winter tyres but its illegal to fit them

  • @SRSpoony

Its not illegal to fit winter tyres! It is illegal to use studed tyres or chains in the UK unless the road is covered in snow, but winter tyres without studs are fine.

  • @sparkygl0s i think you WILL find it is illeal to fit them as they are not sold int he UK because of that fact, the UK goverment thinks its fine not to need them which is just foolish, but hey what can i say the goverment knowns best after all doesnt it ;) just like you i see.

as i used to work for the police and road safety its a fair bet i know the rules of the road and whats legal and not though dont you think ;)

  • @SRSpoony

I think YOU WILL FIND, if you bother to look, that winter tyres are not illegal. They are sold in the UK. ATS are advertising them. Quentin Wilson is advertising the Goodyear Ultragrip 8. Winter tyres are recommended by the tyre industry. They are used on about 5% of the cars in the UK. They are on my car right now. My insurance company is aware that I am using them.

  • @AdsLeech then the answer is: UK is retarded

  • @AdsLeech

Most insurers used to increase the premium for winter tyres, as they considered them to be a modification. The insurance companies have now agreed not to do this, but its as well to check with your own company, just to be sure.

  • @AdsLeech Which is stupid! But does it count as a modification to the car?

  • @AdsLeech Check out the document put out by the ABI; "Winter Tyres Motor Insurance Commitment". It lists companies that have vowed that installing winter tyres won't affect your coverage or premiums. As long as the winter tyres are the correct size as specified by the car manufacturer, your coverage won't be affected.

  • @AdsLeech put chains on the tires problem solved then take them off when u got good traction

  • @SRSpoony Also, we get a lot less snow. It makes no sense for the government to invest so heavily in dealing with it when some years we don't even get snow

  • bloody supermarket driver, all he needed to do was pick his mid lift up and he wud have flown out of there!!

  • @steveomaesnewydd they dont lift if its loaded

  • @greensidemags they can be lifted if loaded when you use the reduction button instead of the normal button, get easily 20-25 tonns on th drive wheels :)

  • omg lift the third axle and the drive wheels will get better traction

  • Big fail SNOW CHAINS ONLY COST 100 bucks thats cost more

  • what uk trucks dont have a differential lock on there drives? and also whats up with the single tires on the trucks? and i didnt know there was aldi's in the uk lol. yeh its law in america you have to have chains with you on your truck in certain states.

  • The snow turned to ice and the road is on a hill

  • Were the snow? And how is this truck stuck? It is moving and nothing else but bad driver.

  • wow thats some good city maintenance right there! ploughing snow reeeeealll good... bahaha dumb asses

  • um doses those middle axles on thoses truck's not go up? like no wounder he is stuck!!!!

  • its nice to have two rear diffs that you can lock together but weight over the drive tires is key.

  • Is it not a pity that they should be in trouble on ice, not knowing the gear to raise the tread friction.

  • Couple of chains and this truck would not of had to make 50 attempts. Doesn'T matter how much it snows, if it does, look what happens without a couple of even cable chains.

  • @SuperBigblue19 it is so funny how people say put chain and or lift the rigit axel and bla bla bla ... me what i saw about the truck its that its a piece of crap its like 8 wheeler first (the cab) it is supose to be 10 wheeler .. and it got traction on the last set of wheel right before the fift wheel weight and the way the truck is made the cab jump every where and dont stay at all of the ground ... simple solution get rid of that crap and buy a peter built or a freigliner at the worse ..

  • @GHOSTTOYS yeah but if he at least carried some chains he could have gotten out of it no problem. Ive driven threw the rockies in a blizzard i chained up at the bottom and had no problem going up or down the other side. and yes they dont know what it means to drive a real truck. KW all the way. all he had to do was put one chain on each side of the truck and walla out.

  • @SuperBigblue19 and by the way chain on wheel in the city is not the solution it will be worse now they will slip on the asfalt and plus it will destroy the asfalt .. usualy plain truck tire of that size they eat the asfalt make wave in asfalt why i know that much about truck i load truck with metal sheet coil using a crane and believe me i those truck cant handle nothing but small trailler and not loaded .. local delivery only

  • that is why we put 2 drive axles in our trucks in america

  • @devonte3062 so we do in europe, its just to choose what you want, but this guy didnt raise the tag axle to get weight on drive wheels, if he did he wouldnt have any problem :)

  • well no wonder he got stuck that thing is a pathetic excuse of a snow plow

  • It is not stuck, it is miving.

  • u spelt plow wrong

  • @InfernusClan That's the proper way of spelling plough, not the American way. ;-) Thanks though. I need to add another tag

  • @InfernusClan no he didnt thts the proper way to spell it .

  • if they had 2 sets of duals with lockers it wouldof had no problem

  • If they had only learned to use the truck and its functions. Swedish trucks rule the earth.

  • did Aldi even offer you their energy drinks?

  • scania sucks.

  • Near where I live the snowplough got stuck one year, you know your in trouble when the snowplough gets stuck lol

  • if only they made quattro lorries!

  • winter tires !! and in some cases chains

  • @wojtasnr02 snow tyres and chains are very rare of England. Our snow may only last for 1 week of snow

  • What is this shit, only 2x6, get some locker on thoses axel or just get a WESTERN STAR, simply the best

  • The everyday car drivers never give truck drivers any credit at all, to most car drivers the truck driver is just a pain in the backside, anyway what do you get when you take all trucks off the roads? "empty fucking shelves."

  • @frankbing1 Same as these goats that want to ban HGV's from towns..... because 40 transits take up less room than 1 40-footer!!

  • love the fact townies cant even handle a little bit of snow..

  • Aldi

    Move a little

    Spin a lot.

    (geddit?)

  • aldi Hop xD

  • stay home ore lift that fucking axel

or take out the airline to the axel

    if you cant lift it

  • no wonder Aldi had bare shelves! lol

  • UK drivers might start using tyre chains

  • doesnt make any difference, u want weight onto the drive axle. Lifting the axle transfers the weight to the front and back.

  • You know, if we couldn't get out of this we would never go several monhs of the year. Lift the bloody axle for more traction, and carry a shovel with you.

  • have he lifted the biggi axeel he have made it. strange he forgot it

  • @scaniawahl or letting some air out of the rear tires.

  • @siemenstraffic easier to lift the boggi, the difference is as day and night, letting air out is a good thing, but that will cause other problems afterwards :)

  • @scaniawahl it dosent help when he drive Pusher truck!

  • @vingebil more weight on the axle helps, indeed:)

  • @scaniawahl don't forget the truck suspension control ECU will override driver command if there is sufficient load on the drive axle

  • @foxbat212 you override the ecu with the other button for tag axle reduction, it reduces all the way and then overrides it. scania lifting the tag axle anyway. often used for maneuvering in small places or on snow or ice. if the truck is loaded enough yo get easy over 20 tons of weight on the axle :) i drived scania for 4 years so i know :) now i driving mercedes and there is little more problems, it lifting when override, but it goes easy down when the bumps in the road disturbing :)

  • @scaniawahl over 9 ton on the trailer neck he might not hve been able to override the axle raise & lower - not 100% sure im a DAF driver my self so I wouldnt know about scanias

  • @cgd27 scania have 100% override at the reuction button. the normal boggilift button cant be overrided. but when you use the reduction button it lift all the way up, at least in scandinavia, but i believe scania have it on all trucks. so the different there would be like day and night :)

  • @scaniawahl

100 % right...... And the question why he did not lift it......

  • @donDaja to early in the morning?? :)

  • @scaniawahl

    Possible :))))

  • @scaniawahl exactly what I was thinking. Crank it up to get all traction on the drive wheels and it would have also taken away the added resistance.

  • @spina13x yes, i guess he did it for the attention :)
