I'm sure there are other uses like 'shelving' that the scrap pieces can be used for. Hey! Time is money. If you can cut these 10 times faster this way than with moving a ladder 10 times? Go for it. Plus; you can paint it the same way with just the driver. Attach a string and pulley to the trigger of a sprayer. Mount the sprayer to an upright post placed inside some cinder blocks for stability, pull the string, drive and paint. Oh yeah! Great minds think alike. LOL
