How to use the IPS patch

There's several ways to get around this:

You could hit the handy little mute button on the Youtube player.

You could turn your speakers off.

You could put your hands on your ears and go "LALALALALA".

Or you could do a combination of those 3, be creative. :)

i dont get it... i got a ips file.. i use lunar magic and click on it.. then it says select file to patch... but i dont know what file i gotta use.. i got 1 file which is an ips file and cant play it

You also need a clean (unchanged) rom of Super Mario World to apply the patch to. Distributing roms is not permitted, but they're out there somewhere (Google helps).

I have this problem were it allows me to choose MMM but it wonn't allow me to choose SMW which I have, what should I do?

I've never ran into this problem before, does any sort of error message come up when you try to select SMW? That might shine a little more light on what the heck is going on.

no it just doesn't appear at all like right after I choose MMM the file of SMW doesn't appear at all, well I'll just try re downloading SMW

Just goes to show, I am stuck on that bullet bill bounced. I spent a whole hour once trying to get through it, but my screen scrolls up every time I jump a bullet, which makes the bullets disappear.

Do you think you can answer these questions?

1) How do you rewind your states?

2) In the pit of 5 trials, in the trial with the bullet bill bounce, every time I jump off of a bullet, my screen scrolls up. In that case, sometimes, bullets go off of my screen, then when I fall back down, the bullets disappeared. Do you know what I mean?

i dont fucking get it i apply ips to the rom and i test it out and nothing comes out i tried Super Metroid Eris hearded IPS And Nothing I tried another rom hack For SMW And Nothing. is there something missing iv deleted so many roms i dont know what to do i need help with this

I use U, so I know that works, Don't know about the other two, I'd imagine it should work as long as it's SMW but I wouldn't know. Just be sure it has a [!] at the end of it which means it's a clean rom.

Yeah, you need to actual rom to play my hack, releasing roms is a bad thing so I had to release it as a patch.

Try using a clean rom. SMWCentral has a clean ROM verifier.
